Spent 2 nights here in Jan 2018. Location amazing. Wildlife amazing but difficult to spot in the rain. Rain relentless. Staff great. Rooms v good. Be prepared for all your clothes to get damp/wet. It's worth it

Stunning location. Great a la carte menu for all meals that are included as there is nowhere else to eat. Very friendly staff and excellent guides. 2 canal tours (park fee $15pp extra) and a village tour are also included. Rooms are HUGE with AC, TV and have private outdoor showers. Terrific place to experience Tortuguero.

Fantástico hotel ubicado en las proximidades de tortuguero en Costa Rica. todas las habitaciones son casas individuales y están quedado dentro del parque, de tal forma que es posible ver muchas especies animales así como monos o diferentes tipos de ranas. también muy cerca te puedes acercar la playa y ver cómo nacen las tortugas y van hacia el mar.
hay que llevar cuidado al pasear y no caminar debajo de las palmeras ya que los cocos se pueden caer.
las habitaciones disponen de aire condicionado y el hotel también posee una piscina. es muy recomendable tener En la reserva la pensión completa pues es muy difícil acceder a otros restaurantes de hecho sólo se puede acceder al hotel por barca, posee embarcadero propio

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend. We had a fantastic experience and learned a great deal about the location, wildlife and village of Tortuguero. Our guides, Luis Sr and Luis Jr were fantastic and it was easy to see the passion they had for the wildlife and flora/fauna.The Night-time turtle nesting tour with Luis Sr was beyond compare and an experience that we will remember for years to comeDuring our stay, we even had a slight mishap with domestic flights leaving Tortuguero, and hotel manager Sergio was gracious and immensely helpful in coordinating our transport at the end of our stay. Overall, I think Manatus hotel is the best kept secret of Tortuguero and is severely underrated compared to its competitors. Most definitely would recommend this hotel and its staff!

We stayed at the Manatus Hotel in early March this year. We were very pleased with out choice. Our rooms were amazing, the staff in the hotel were charming, it was not crowded, we had some lovely well presented meals and it did not rain once. Despite the proximity of the jungle, we were not bothered by insects. The hotel guide Louis was very knowledgeable and showed us some remarkable flora and fauna. The 4 of us loved it.

Staff couldn't care less about the interest of their guests to know more about the rainforest. Better take all your books with you as the people there will only show you war you already know.

They were some of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met. The food was outstanding and the lodging was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel!! ¡Pura Vida!
