Amazing hotel in amazing service. Was upgraded to the VIP Tower and also given lounge access as an ambassador. Love the VIP check-in as well and the hotel really goes above and beyond. The food in the club Lounge is amazing and includes and multiple dishes throughout the day as well as cocktails in the evening. The pool area is beautiful and love taking a night swim in this beautiful setting. Truly a great property and can't wait to come back

"The Hotel" - there is always something happening, the people are great, always know your name, nothing is ever boring The hotel, is just huge and elegant The food, is exquisite, the time dedicated to every detail of your request, it's really mind blowing.

Customer service can be a hit or miss at certain times with this hotel. For the most part they are decent but you will run into the bad ones plus there are times a room won't be in the best condition. Consistency seems to be an issue here for some reason at this high class hotel.

For example beds tha may not feel completely clean, phone may be broken, lights that may be burnt out, etc. It is better than most hotels in the San Jose area but it has problems.

My most favorite thing in this hotel though are the restaurants, I highly suggest visiting them and giving them all a try. Quality of the food is good but they do get full at times.

Overall worth a stay.

Went to eat here and the food was amazing. The service and superb, the ambient was positive and the attention was friendly. They have multiple types of food for each palate and you won't be sorry when you visit on their restaurants. Just quality, great atmosphere and friendly service sll the way. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with lousy service. Phones in room didn't work. No ice bucket in room. Couldn't call for room service so went to front desk. Was told they would send up ice and phone service man. On hour later still got neither. Went to front desk again. This time they sent ice . Still waiting on phone repair 1 hour later. Also, don't bring a lot of phones, iPads or cameras to charge. The few outlets they have are in inconvenient locations.

Staff was the best I've had anywhere. I would gladly stay here again. Rooms were nice - not over the top. Amenities were nice and clean too.

Very nice and elegant hotel. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Big bed with a lot pillows. Bathroom was wide and clean as well. Outside pool area is beautiful and well decorated. Location is not really good but access to the city and airport is easy and not far. Overall a very nice hotel with great staff. Would recommend.

Very nice hotel but certain aspects of customer service are spotty. We are here for 11 days and so far we have had to go to front desk 4 times in the first 4 days because our keys were constantly deactivated. Finally they fixed it for the rest of the stay, we hope.. We also tried to call the spa to book a massage and no one ever picked up, I let it ring for 10 mins. We did not end up going to the spa because of that. Restaurants were average, nothing really stood out. The club tower room is modern and comfortable. Room service has been prompt and excellent. Room is clean and housekeeping a pleasure. We haven't spent too much time in the pool, but they keep it clean. Great mall across the street if you have some time to kill. In conclusion, would I stay here again for pleasure? Probably not.

When I travel I always try to stay at an Intercontinental hotel. This hotel is first class. There is a special check in for ambassador members. They are very helpful.
Rooms are what I expect from IHG. Pool area real nice, it was real windy when we were there so going in the pool was not happening.
Food and restaurants are all excellent. They were doing construction on the parking lot which was not a big problem. Enjoy your travels..

I'll give them this. They managed to find rooms for our 100 person group at short notice when there were technical issues with our cruise ship. That said, the room I was assigned had malfunctioning air conditioning. when i told the desk, he was unconcerned. Only after i insisted, did he offer to send a repairman. I went back to the room and waited. And waited. I couldn't call the front desk to tell them I was still waiting because the phone had been unplugged and had no charge. Only after getting our group leader to help did they offer the solution of moving to a room with functional AC. The internet wouldn't work and the concierge blamed my iphone instead of looking for a solution. There are other places in town with nice rooms and nicer staff.

Very clean typical American style hotel but impersonal. Very comfortable beds and friendly reception. Expect prices for food to be high. We took a cab into town and had excellent local cuisine at la Criollata for a quarter of the price. Pay attention when the busboy calls for a cab from the hotel. He did not use a meter and charged us 11000. Colons. When we returned with a cab from the same area the meter was 6000. Colon.

The tower rooms are more updated rooms than the older ones. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Has a ton of great places to eat there and an excellent spa.

One of the best hotels anywhere. Breakfast was wonderful. Several restaurants from which to choose. Good room service. Great bar in the lobby or get a drink by the pool Spa staff is fantastic and has many services. Easy walking distance to the Multiplaza if you want a more budget friendly meal.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and reasonable. The Bed is too soft. The mattress is covered with a very thick but lumpy topper that could be updated to something more like memory foam of a more modern type of topper. Overall not a bad experience.

For the price the room is old and small. Needs improvement. Not even a water as a gift. The employees are nice but they don't go beyond the minimum. It has nice restaurants but too expensive.

Rooms are a bit dated and not in great condition. It's located next to a mall so that's convenient. Will need a taxi to go anywhere. Location is not that central.

They have 3 swimming pools which are great for adults and kids alike. Water is kept slightly warm. Oddly enough, the jacuzzi doesn't feel warm enough. They also have a sizable gym. On location are 3 restaurants. Breakfast buffet has a pretty good selection, an omelette station and a good variety of fresh juices/smoothies.

Check in was quick, the bell boy helped us immediately when we arrived though we had to self park.. parking and area are safe. Walking distance to a great mall with restaurants and shopping. The hotel has quite a few restaurants. The spa is very nice, has a salon for hair and nails, pool area is great too. Room was clean and spacious! Check out was very quick.

The accommodations were great. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Service seemed a bit slowwe needed to ask repeatedly for things like coffee and clean sheets when we found bugs in both beds. (Unsure if they were adult bed bugs. There were two in each bed and they resembled larva as they inched, not crawled. We didn't see anymore after our first night.) Convenient to shopping. Lovely veranda for breakfast and outdoor dining.

This is a great business travel property that has some resort like features. Great pool, great poolside restaurant. This is a convention hotel property but they did a good job of segmenting off the convention area and giving this property a resort like feel. Great service, comfortable clean rooms with nice views to the pool that make going to work from this property a "battle" not to blow off the day and sit by the pool

Beautiful Hotel not too far from the center of San Jose. Up to date, very clean and a top notch staff. Great pool area with a nice little bar and a great spa/gym with newer Technogym equipment. Multiple restaurants on property with the Market restaurant staying open 24 hours. A full buffet breakfast is included with your room. You also have multiple restaurants and shops within walking distance.
