Amazing location at the top of a mountain. Amazing view of playa del coco beach. Great food upstairs at the lookout. About a 20 min walk to town. Stayed for a month and every minute of our stay.

They only thing I liked was the view. This place is mainly for adults. The small pool is for adults only. TV flickered the whole time and was never fixed. Breakfast was very limited. Service was less than nice.

We had lunch at the Lookout restaurant at the top of the hotel with a great view over the ocean. The food was freshly made and really tasty. Really good service too. Highly recommend this spot. It's a steep climb on a tight a twisty road but we'll worth it. March 2017.

Great views and food:

We had a very nice stay at this gem of a hotel near Coco beach. We went during the off-season, and they gave us a free upgrade since the room was available. You can see Coco beach from the balcony, but the hotel is far enough away that it's better to take a cab when you want to go downtown. Taxi between the hotel and beach one way was between 5 and 6 USD.

The restaurant was also very good, and served a complimentary breakfast. We ate there a couple of times, and didn't have anything that wasn't delicious. Be warned that they are closed for dinner both Sunday and Monday.

Chantel, whom the hotel is named after, was very helpful at steering us towards the best local sites and tours, and was very accommodating. I'd highly recommend this spot, and will be going back in the future.

The Lookout Restaurant is awesome. We did not stay at the Hotel, but enjoyed the most amazing view, sunset, and meal. The perfect trifecta. The micro brewery beer selection is the best we found and the tuna poke was to die for.

The craft beer sign caught my eye and was pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the operation. Friendly staff especially the dogs that made themselves at home in our hotel room. Great food and beverages. Terrific views. I would highly recommend this place and I will stay there again myself.
