Nice park with two open trails. The third trail which leads to the volcano has been closed for a couple of years. One trail leads to waterfalls , it takes around 3-5h to finish it. The second trail is much shorter and takes around 1-2h

Not for tourists, drove around for hours trying to find the entrance with marked trails. Ended up at Santa Rosa instead, it was lovely.

We attempted to enter park though a hwy 1 entrance. After driving down a dirt road we came upon a somewhat sketchy construction area. A uniformed man came out and told us we should not be in here and told us to leave! Double checked the sign at entrance, it had the park name on it??? Find to correct gate before coming!

Stunning park, with amazing vistas. Was here while studying abroad from Philadelphia University, and was able to explore vast parts of the park - from Jeep, to horseback, to hiking. Someplace I hope to return to in the future for the vast diversity of ecosystems it offered.
