Staff were very helpful with setting up tours. The hotel has a business connection to Selvatura, so it's easiest to do Selvatura tours. Room was large and had 2 queen sized beds. The room's balcony is nice as well. If you're on foot, you might want to request a unit that's closer to reception since it's a bit of a hike up a steep hill to get to the units that are further away. There are great views of the sunset pretty much everywhere in the property, and it was clearly designed with that in mind. There is no air conditioning in the room, but it cooled down quite nicely in the evening and I didn't find AC to be necessary since I was out and about during the day when it was hotter. The bathroom has a very large, nice shower. The room came with a fridge in it. I only have 2 very minor complaints -- the door to the room seemed to be in poor shape and there aren't a lot of outlets to plug into for device charging (I might just have too many devices). My expectations for this hotel were exceeded.

El hotel ficus te ofrece un cuarto de unos 45 m2 ideal para una familia, es muy bonito y con vistas muy lindas.

Very nice spacious rooms, good westward view from some. Wooded trail down to lodge. Well-kept lawn and flower beds. Nice dining room with decent breakfast and dinner.

El hotel en si no está mal, cumple perfectamente con un buen hotel y ecológico como es la norma en Costa Rica, pero si valoras el trato humano y la comida de calidad, se lleva un sobresaliente. Destacar la increÃble atención prestada por Gabriel (el camarero) que gracias a el descubrimos la suculenta comida del hotel y el esquisto trato. Se merece una mención especial. 100x100 recomendable por su cercanÃa al centro, y si haces uso de su cocina aún más recomendable.
