Basic rooms for a good price. A week later and I’m still dreaming about their breakfast! Their banana pancakes with coconut syrup are to die for. Eddy and his family were super nice and helpful!

Very basic rooms. On a busy street. Don't plan on sleeping past 6 am because the noise of traffic will wake you. No sound barrier between rooms. I had very noisy neighbors so it made my stay quite unpleasant. The Wifi isn't great. At lest in my room. On the positive side, the owner is very nice and speaks English well. The breakfast is good. The location is close to lots of things to do. They will arrange for transport to your different activities. I am here at the end of October, hoping to miss the rainy season. Not so lucky. It has been raining nonstop from 4pm yesterday. Still raining this morning.

Hotel muy sencillo, algo de polvo y olor a humedad en las habitaciones, pero un trato excelente y un desayuno incluído en precio habitacion (35$) riquísimo.

We had some problems about the price. Our friends got the same room for 25 dollars, but they wanted 35 dollars from us first! Our friends got breakfast for that money, we didn't. When we talked about this silly thing, staff started to behave rude! Kitchen was so dirty. So it doesn't worth the money we paid. There are lots of options in Monteverde.

Quite noisy as the room faces the main road. Almost seemed like they didn't want the business even though they only had one other group staying there. Once checked in they were quite helpful, even left a packed breakfast for us since we caught an early bus out of town.

A lovely place to stay with lovely hosts Freddy and Shirleena. The rooms are basic but are clean with fresh sheets and towels.

There is also onsite parking availanle - although space is limited to maybe 3 to 4 latge SUVs.

There is coffee and tea available in the common area near reception pretty much all the time.

They offer a wonderful selection to choose from for breakfast (fruits, eggs, toast, pancakes with coconut maple syrup) and it is all made to order.

Freddy makes you feel welcomed when you check in and is happy to provide all information and help that you may require for your stay in Monteverde.

This was our first stop in Costa Rica and Eddys Cabinas helped start our holiday off on a high.

I definitely recommend this place.
