Extra! Les propriétaires sont super gentils. Le logement était propre et surtout extrêmement bien situé. Il vous suffit de traverser la route pour être sur la plage. Vous avez un accès direct à des loueurs de planche. Il y a également un vendeur de fruits juste en face ainsi qu'un arrêt de bus. Vous êtes à 5 minutes en bus ou en taxi de Puerto viejo (moins de 2 euros le trajet). À quelques minutes à pied vous avez d'excellents restaurants. La cuisine commune, extérieure, est très pratique. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent.

Personal super amable. Cocina a disposición con nevera en zona común. Parking. Hay 3 perros muy amigables y tranquilos y además te prestan sombrilla y una hamaca de plástico si quieres ir a la playa de enfrente. Excelente localización, justo al otro lado de la carretera hay una playa de arena blanca muy bonita, donde se puede hacer surf con olas que además permiten bañarse sin problema (se pueden alquilar tablas al lado). Nos alojamos 2 noches y al volver a pasar por puerto viejo repetimos, 3 noches más. La habitación doble es muy muy amplia. Al lado hay un bar bueno, a 200m un restaurante muy bueno (sol del Caribe) y cerca esta la mejor playa de Costa Rica (punta uva). Repetiriamos!
Lo menos bueno: En una de las habitaciones no tuvimos agua caliente. No hay A/C pero por el precio que pagamos no podemos exigirlo (si hay 2 ventiladores por habitacion). Si tienes el sueño ligero y hay tráfico por la noche, los coches pueden despertarte.response / report this review -

Can't speak for the hostel only the restaurant & property the food was DELICIOUS! We both got the chicken casado but hubs got Caribbean sauce & I got coconut sauce & the coconut sauce was out of this world - hubs agreed it was the better choice. The side of vegetables were so exceptional that my husband (who doesn't normal comment on veggies) mentioned a handful of times how delicious they were! The brownie was the best brownie we've ever had - half baked, warm & gooey! Our server (a local), Luis, was very friendly & efficient. Love the vibe here too!

Best place to stay in Puerto Viejo! The owners are super friendly, great kitchen, get rooms, with hammocks on the balcony, directly across the street from the ocean. chill reggae vibes, also very affordable. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
