Staff is friendly, and fluent in multiple languages. Rooms are clean and have air conditioning and fans. Multiple pools, easy access to the beach, and many tour opportunities, as well as great food.

Sloths about! Bungalow was really nice. WiFi only in communal areas. Pool was ok, food was ok. Very close to the beach, little convenience shop next door.

We have been traveling Costa Rica, and a finding that mattresses here are not comfortable no matter where you stay. Be aware of this especially if you have a bad back or bad hips. The grounds are beautiful the food was great, these two things would get 5 stars.. The room has Bare Essentials a bed, small free-standing closet, one desk. Nothing else in there. You can also hear your neighbor snore move in their bed phone ring take a shower and blow their nose. No privacy. For this reason we would not stay here again.

There is a whopping 23% extra charge they add to their already exorbitantly priced restaurant meals. A simple dinner plate with the tiniest cheesecake I have ever seen was $25 not including the extra 23% they tack on without telling you. Internet only works in the lobby. There was a family of cockroaches in my room.

Staff asked me about 5 times if I wanted to open a tabwhich they were pushing rather than just giving me my room key. I finally told them to never ask me that again.

Check in process took an hour.

Too far from the town to walk, and they claimed it was dangerous.

I have stayed here twice and never again. They tried to over charge me, the internet never works at ALL, we didn't have water two different times. Staff was rude. The manager wouldn't even come talk to me when I could see her at her desk in the back office. Never again. Don't go here. So many better places for half the price.

Poor service. The room I got was with used sheets with blood on them and a huge cockroach in the shower, asked to change it and paid extra money to upgrade it, just to get the same room with a TV on it. No hot water in the shower most of the day. My girlfriend got stained by mosquitos and had to go to the hospital.
After aproaching the manager, he said "there is nothing we can do, if you think we have bad service I'll just have to accept it".

Nice place to stay right by the beach with friendly staff. The hotel is also really close to the main town and easily accessible. If you have a very large room it might be a little warm and the wifi is very week in the rooms themselves.

We moved to this hotel after one night somewhere else. Compared to the other place, it was paradise! We went with a basic room, which met our needs - nice AC and shower. Though I will say the walls are quite thin, so we could hear the neighbors packing up at 5:30am one morning. Other than that, great stay. Grounds are beautiful, nice and quiet setting close to the beach. They were doing a lot of work at the facility, I feel like they really want to improve the overall experience. We walked to and from town many times and didn't have any issues.

Loved it here. So many animals to see! Even just from chilling in the hammock.

We stayed in the bungalows and aside from being sparsely equipped (no fridge/microwave) they we're very comfortable. The breakfast is top quality, and the pool is nice (although both hot tubs were broken). The grounds are beautiful and you can see tree frogs and even capybara wandering around. The staff and security are very helpful as well. A great place for the price.

    It is fine.
It is not the typical caribbean hotel we expected.
When asked to "purchase towels" for the pool, much less the beach, we knew this was different kind of place.

However, we loved the restaurants and enjoyed the overall experience.

    Would we go back?
