It's nice! They try to keep their showers 5 minutes or less. My main concern is the shower didn't get hot. But other than that, the room was clean, and the staff was really friendly. Would recommend!

Least expensive place that we have stayed at in a long time. You get the basics and it is clean. We were late to the breakfast but they still accomodated us. Great service. If you need more than a room this is not for you.

Good maintained rooms. Bad WiFi connection. Only breakfast, but very close to center where there are lots of shops and restaurants.

The weather was cold and there is no heating at the hotel. We were freezing and could barely sleep or enjoy ourselves as a result.

Rooms are a bit dark, but the balcony is nice it also has a nice view. The Staff is helpful and friendly but not outstandig as I have seen it in other hotels.
The breakfast has to be improved as it is not really tasty better to go in the town to one of the bakeries there.response / report this review -

the rooms are great, beds are very comfy, the breakfast is very good and you need to pay in advance the day before if you want to eat in the morning (cheap price). It's a little far from downtown though, if you are not equipped to walk uphill, but it's a great exercice! Overall amazing hotel!

Fantastic service, beautiful rooms. The staff helped me figure out where the best places to go with my limited time in the area. I absolutely loved the national park, local restaurants, and secluded time before heading to work for 2 months. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Monteverde
