Great time! If your first time ask for any guide but Diaz. He's a bit over the top and insulting. very unprofessional and rude.. lol

Very professional and great equipments. Stephen was our guide and it was a lot of fun. They were able to tune the rafting experience for us (younger and adventure couples) with more bumpy rides. We had fruits at one of the stops, and cold beer at the end! We did the most challenging raft which was level 3-4 Sarapiqui river. Highly recommend for the more adventurous

We had a great day rafting with Wave excursions. Everything is expertly organised, transport, rafting, lunch. The guides are very knowledgeable and competent and make the whole experience a great day out for all groups on the river. Just the right level of thrills on the water while making sure everyone feels safe. Highly recommended.

The rafting experience was fun but having to deal with very rude people that work there not so much I'd find myself another place where you can enjoy the experience without the need of rudeness. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Amazing experience! They picked us up at our hotel and we took the shuttle with a few other families to the rafting location. Carlos was a GREAT guide with a good sense of humor. We saw a sloth, frog and iguana! He was very informative and loved getting to know us. After the rafting we had a great meal with all the guides and got to learn about how they make cane sugar! Highly recommend this company! great time!

To be fair - the rafting was some of the best we have ever done !
Wave Expeditions told us the photo's at the end of the trip were complimentary . but this was not true. We ended up purchasing some photos.

Wish I had taken my GoPro to take some additional photo's.

Such a great experience! Don't know how i have gone my whole life without doing this! Definitely recommend everyone to do this in their lifetime once. The staff was amazing! Extremely experience and helpful. The river is beautiful with a lot of wildlife around you as we saw a few sloths and a lizard up in the trees. Definitely recommend!

We booked through our hotel and they came to pick us up. We did level 3/4 and it was the best river I've been on. Lunch was good and they take good pictures, for an extra price. We saw sugar cane being juiced, and on the ride back José gave us excellent recommendations for the rest of the night. Worth it!

Had so much fun rafting! The staff were super friendly and made us feel very safe! It was also great to finish the day with an authentic meal and sugar cane at a local farm. Very cool experience.

This is the BEST Costa Rica rafting experience!! They're organized, safe, happy, & fun! Their English is also good. They go beyond basic rafting with delicious fresh fruit at a stop on the river, a photographer captures the memories, & it's all followed by a special authentic lunch with cerveza, local coffee, & sugar cane moonshine!

My son and I just completed a trip to Costa Rica, and our first stop was La Fortuna/Arenal. While there we took part in a white water rafting tour with Wave Expeditions on the Rio Balsa. The crew at Wave Expeditions was extremely professional, punctual and although there were moments on the river that provided just the right amount of "adrenaline rush", we knew that we were in good hands. I highly recommend them!
