I would advise that no customer book with the Yangtze Boutique Hotel.
I was booked with them when I had a 24 hr layover in Shanghai on our way to Bali. Because of the Mt Agung volcano eruption, our entire trip was cancelled. I notified the hotel 2 days ahead of our check-in date letting them know this situation (flights had already been cancelled and in the process of being refunded) and because I was within the 2-day "no refund cancellation" window (obviously, my trip was cancelled last minute because of a natural disaster, not something you can plan ahead), they are still not refunding the amount I was charged. I have been fighting this for the past 12 days with the company I booked this hotel through, and the reservation office is saying they need a "Cancellation Certificate" in order to refund the amount I was charged - I have provided them cancelled flight confirmations, because CANCELLATION CERTIFICATES are NOT a thing! Like, is China Eastern airline going to send me a "Congratulations, your flight to Bali and entire vacation that you have been planning for 7 months is cancelled". They do not exist and they are unwilling to speak with me about this matter so here I am.
This is absolutely unacceptable as a customer service practice and I fully intend to fight this until my money is refunded.response / report this review -

酒店位置很好，交通方便；酒店剛開業一年多，設施很新，也比較高檔，顯得乾淨衛生。早餐的質量和可口程度，只能說一般，沒想象中那麼好。服務質量不錯，服務人員一般都很有禮貌，也比較專業

大致上還ok，房間有一個大陽台。 但飯店內的電梯有點狹小，小餐略嫌陽春。 跟附近的艾美比較起來，下次入住應該還是會選擇艾美。

Lovely art deco boutique hotel, room is not big but very nice. Great location. The only downside was housekeeping keep bothering you even with the Do NOT Disturb sign on the door.

Old school charm and large rooms, but expensive. Need to apply for free membership to get (free) internet access.
