The hotel is dated. The only impressive thing about this hotel is the lobby. Staffs are friendly. Location is great. Access to the metro is a bit far ( 15 minutes walk). I was told this hotel is a five stars hotel by a tour guide. From what I see, this hotel is 2 stars at most. It's more of a lower end hotel but charge higher price to customers.

Very nice hotel. The lobby and views are impressive. GREAT pool and HUGE gym. Friendly service and the breakfast buffet was one of the best with both Western and Chinese foods.
Just like China itself, the internet is difficult to use. If you are above floor 3, you won't get it in your room. Ask the front desk for a portable Wifi device and hope it helps. It didn't help me and I had to join the many other guests sitting in the lobby checking their emails and calling back home.
Outside of that it's great, but lost a star for internet.response / report this review -

The bus that came to pick us up at the airport made us wait 2 hours. We wouldn't have minded if they had informed us beforehand but we were told to wait for 2 hours for another group that came on a later plan.
The room we got was comfortable at least when we were finally checked in. The "control panel" was very basic and the screen didn't work so our air conditioning was stuck in limbo and the temperature couldn't be changed. The bathroom had a phone next to the toilet and the one time I did have to use it since I was brushing my teeth, I couldn't put it back in place again because it kept falling off. The hairdryer provided was weak. There was a panel for controlling music but no input for an mp3 player.
The hotel was okay at most but the service/s were terrible. This is a supposed 5 star hotel. I went to a 3 star hotel later on and I have to say, the only difference was the size of the room. Otherwise everything else was the same--- actually no. We got digital tv with more channels in the 3 star hotel. I think stars are just awarded to the size of the room.
The food at the breakfast service and restuarants within were passable but only because there was variety.response / report this review
