Couldn't have asked for a more perfect hotel! It was beautiful, the view was fantastic, the breakfast was excellent and had a mix of western and eastern dishes, and the location was great, close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Amazing view from the rooms and great location but subpar service and dated rooms. We accidentally broke a glass in the room and the hotel wanted to charge us 75 RMB (11 USD) to replace it.

Very nice and comfortable hotel with a great location by the bund. Corner rooms give a really good view especially at night. Breakfast has both Asian and western options, and service was generally professional and smooth.

Rooms were immaculately cleaned. A perfect hotel for my first time in China. I was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was included and very delicious. Staff very friendly.

Nice spacious rooms with amazing views. Complimentary happy hour. I also loved the attention to detail in the guest experience - room amenities, light music selection, and fresh fruit/tea/cookies. Location is great, highly recommend for your Bund experience!

The hotel is a bit dated and rooms could use refurbishing but the value for money is fantastic! You still get great views, convenient location, big rooms, free breakfast for half what you'd pay in pudong. The only real negative was that wi-fi is painfully slow.

it really is a boutique hotel. but the room needs improvement. e.g. in-room Bluetooth system wasn't working, tv channels weren't stable, even iPod dock wasn't connected.

Fabulous hotel. We were lucky to find this. Loved just sitting at our window and looking at the activity along the Bund. The hotel room was very large and had a large bathroom with modern conveniences.

Stayed here in 2014 with a group of my business associates. I had an excellent stay. The breakfast buffet was very well done, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the view of the river was very enjoyable. I very much hope to be able to travel back to Shanghai again, and if I do I would try to stay here again!
