Decent hotel, i'd say it's between 3 and 4 stars. You get the feeling the building was at the top but now it's aged quite a bit, the key cards aren't very quick, my shower door didn't close fully (small things, but they add up). The breakfast is good (stick to the local dishes, they're very good!) . The location of the hotel is the real appeal.
Overall i've had a good stay.

Rooms need updating and often smell of smoke or mildew, even if you request a non-smoking floor. Breakfast and wifi are decent. Pool (which is actually on floor 6 of a nearby spa) has a one-time 100 RMB fee, and requires use of swim cap (or shower cap).
