It's a nice hotel but a few small problems stopped it from being excellent. Firstly, I checked in on a very hot day and needed a drink apparently outside of breakfast there is no way to get a cold drink that isn't bottled water - no drinks machine, no bar, no cafe, no ice maker, nothing - you have to go down the street to the 7-eleven! Secondly, I tried to get a taxi to Dongzhimen subway station but was told by the hotel staff that no taxi would take me as the trip is too short it's a 15 minute walk, which is quite far when you have luggage! Finally, as others have said, the location on Google maps is wrong. I'm usually quite good with directions but managed to get lost twice trying to walk here - there are a couple of dead-end alleys that aren't obvious on the map.

The hotel is great..but the location on google map n waze is wrong. Its actual location is at intersection of Shizipo Rd & Chunxiu Rd.

Great experience overall and has everything you would expect from HIE. Breakfast was excellent with a good mix of Western and Chinese selections. The walk to the airport express station is straightforward, but closest entrance to station is a staircase to lower ground, thus bear that in mind if travelling with heavy/large luggage.

臨近工體及多國大使館，地理位置優越，入住酒店的外國人比較多。酒店對於白金卡會員贈送的歡迎水果很厚道。房間是標準的智選風格，衛生條件不錯。

- Actual hotel location is about 1000 feet south of where it's mentioned on the Google maps.
- Exact location is at the Intersection of Shizipo St. and Chunxiu Rd.
(You can instead search for "Rixin Tea Art" which is the exact location of Holiday Inn)

Good basic hotel. I checked out early for a flight and was offered a packed breakfast to take away, nice touch.
