This is an upscale hotel Cameroon standard, with international references. This is one of the choice hotels for business travelers in Douala. It is well located in the administrative part of town, in walking distance from all major banks and government offices. The commercial district and super markets are 5minutes drive away. The Douala airport and the seaport are within 10minutes drive. The hotel provides professional hotel services and has just recently undergone some face lifting.

Clean and efficient Douala hotel catering for transitting expats. Not luxury by any means but comfortable and ok for a short stay

This is the worst Ibis hotel ever. Booked a twin bed room for me and my brother for June 29th. Printed out the booking confirmation and handed over to Cyrillie at the reception. He was near rude and insolent. Did not want to take my booking. Wanted to give me another price.

Came in again on July 10th and met same Cyrille and Junior. Both were very rude and insolent. They did not accept our booking. Because we were very tired, we took whatever price they offered.

Very unprofessional here. I won't recommend Ibis Douala to anyone and I won't stay here again till they change
