The rooms are good here and I particularly like the breakfasts. At CFA9500 they are quite expensive but the good is all very fresh and they will even make an omelette for you to order. Coffee is good too. Usually quiet too, so a morning meeting over breakfast is possible here.

Very clean with great staff who are willing to help with any issue. The breakfast buffet starts at 6:30 am and dinner only starts after 19:00. The buffets are good but do tend to be repetative and get boring very quickly. Wifi is available on demand with a comfortable waiting area and pool. Drinks are available. Cost of the buffet is a little high but not restrictive. All in all a great place in Douala.

Most hotels and buildings are not well maintained in Douala but Starland has definitely maintained a high standard. Would recommend for anyone travelling to Douala for business meetings.

One of the best hotels l have stayed in Douala, however it's also one of the most costly. Spacious and comfortable room. The pool is quite small, the restaurant is good but the food is quite expensive. It can also host group meetings in any of Thier great halls.

Front Desk gave us the total cost of stay for 6 nights on arrival, which we paid but were told we had to settle additional lodging balance at checkout. they offered no explanation or apology for the wrong information. Hotel FX rate was exploitative
