  Standard things to complain about, but the worst, is the service. POOR. I sat there one time for 30 minutes without a single barrister- sorry waiter, asking if I needed anything. And I don't want to play the race card here, but guests of "a lighter complexion" did get served, way way faster. With me just sitting there. Good thing I had a blog post to complete reading. Fair rooms, fair location though.

  If you want a taste of standard, try Akwa Palace Hotel. Customer service perfect and receptive; good environment by the pool to take a cold drink. They are exceptional in services. On your next stop in Douala, try using this hotel. But make sure your budget was well planned.
