Briefly, this place has irrespectfull staff, it's very noisy, there is no hot water, toilet was leaking on the floor oh and again the staff couldn't care less about your presence there.
The private rooms are right in front of the common spaces which makes no sense. Even though they have a quiet time rule they make you sign, at 12am we had to ask the staff (!) twice to keep the noise level down and got woken up at 6am by another employee who was talking loudly on the phone. This place is very poorly managed.

Hot water stays on for 2 minutes of every 10. Plan accordingly. Breakfast at the cafe is good. Wifi doesn't reach all of the hotel. Had to book through email due to technical problems with their site. GREAT LOCATION.

It's relatively cheap and close to Bellas Artes metro station. You have to make your own bed, and tear it down in the morning, but as far as hostels go it gets the job done. I guess it almost ensures that you have a clean bed. The bathrooms were decent as well.

This has been a great find in the middle of Santiago. So close to all the major touristy attractions, and public transport. Love the beds, comfortable and warm. Thanks Hotel de la Barra for a lovely stay. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends.
