Hotel Novotel is located in the Plateau which is like the Central Business District of Abidjan.. It’s my 3rd stay here in the past year, I absolutely love the decor and ambience of the reception area and the variety of options available for breakfast. The rooms are basic, bathrooms could do with an upgrade. The only downside to my stay here has been the epileptic WiFi

1. Absolute worst WiFi I’ve ever experienced in a hotel.
2. Pillows are terrible and cause neck aches
3. Restaurant options are expensive, limited and food isn’t great - have you order in from local restaurants

Not worth the price. Cannot recommend the restaurant. Cockroaches in the lobby. While some of the service was very good and kind others were not.

The lobby, restaurant and meeting halls are the places I visited while at this hotel which I would clasify as cozy and welcoming.

The colors are well chosen, the staff somewhat welcoming.

The WiFi is extremely fast.

At the restaurant, for lunch you have the choose between the buffet (around €34) and the menu. Somewhat pricey in my opinion.

Complete catastrophe 10 day stay - not to usual Novotel standards. From confirmed reservations that went missing on arrival, to room service that took more than one hour, to empty breakfast and dinner buffets, to cockroaches in the restaurant to no internet connection in the rooms between 7am till midnight. Novotel needs to change the senior management of this hotel!

I had a great experience staying in Novotel last week end. Nice room, with the view over the lagoon and the bridges. I specifically loved their bathrooms it so cool and neat. The service was on point and the people were nice. I will definitely recommend it to anyone

Beneath the veneer of sophistication it has some of the worse features of its frenchness. Aloof staff, small rooms and no milk in the rooms. For me this visit, restaurant service was very slow, hard to get any attention and long waits for what I had ordered. I guess the buffet is easier but much more expensive.
They left the previous occupant's half used soap and shampoo in my shower. When it seems a very modern hotel, that was a surprise.

Seriously, get yourself here. Its gorgeous, and breathtaking in so many levels. Your family will love you for it. Very unlike Africa. Rooms are surprisingly modern and high tech.

The drive from the airport is depressing, but once within the downtown "Plateau" area, its like passing thru a curtain into a different world within Abidjan.

But once inside the confines of this hotel, it totally makes up for the humid, hot atmosphere outside or an stress before.
