We first visited Sonnmatten last winter and were immediately enthralled by the friendly staff and delicious food, so much so that we decided to have our wedding there this summer. This was an amazing event that went so smoothly because of the great expertise of the hosts and staff. I would always recommend Sonnmatten - both the terrace and inside, and culinary delights await!

A great experience at the restaurant. Their daily menu was so delicious we plan to go back. Friendly attentive service with remarkable and delicious food. I highly recommend the gen off the beaten track !

Stunning view of Matterhorn from our one bedroom apartment on the second floor. Friendly service, very good restaurant, expensive, the kitchen is very well equipped. The stuff leaves every morning croissants in front t of your door. We found in the fridge home made delicious apricot jam. They can fill the fridge for you prior your arrival too. They have a trampoline for kids. 10 min climbing from the center of Zermatt. Quiet place in the evening after restaurant closes (11pm). They can land you an umbrella, strollers,
