Incredible staff, delicious food, and comfortable accommodations. This place is truly a respite from the hectic pace of everyday life. Daniel, Tomas, and the rest of the staff made us feel right at home and had excellent recommendations for how to plan our days when the weather looked iffy. If you're planning a stay in the Berner Oberland, this is a great home base for hiking and all sorts of alpine adventures. Also, definitely do the half-board option for dinners. The price can't be beat and the chef is outstanding! We hope to return sometime soon to this wonderful place!

Room was a bit small, but cozy. The bathroom was extremely small and a bit hard to move around freely. The view from our view was amazing and the husband and wife who runs the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful.

Fantastic service at this hotel! It's located a few minutes walk from the train station, making it easy to travel to and from. The food here at night is unbelievably good, and breakfast isn't too shabby either. One of the best hotel stays we've ever had!

Nice hotel 5 mins from the train station in Wengen. The hotel is beautifully located in the middle of the alps and you get good views from pretty much everywhere in the property. The staff is super helpful and very friendly. Both the breakfast (included) and the 4 course dinner (~25 franks/person) were great at the property.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Edelweiss, which felt more like staying at Daniel and Susanne's home rather than a hotel. Daniel welcomed us with a tour of the hotel. The view from our room and balcony was wonderful. The bed and washroom were simple but adequate.

It was my wife's birthday and the hotel team made her feel extra special with a decorated table, special dessert, meal catered to our vegetarian diet and a surprise gift. What an amazing dinner - everything was so fresh and tasty! Breakfast was fantastic as well with a large spread and with cheese from their own cow! More importantly, Tomas and Alex are excellent servers and went above and beyond.

Daniel and Susanne took care of everything we needed, they were fun to chat with, they are very thoughtful - including having extra jackets and umbrellas if the weather requires it. We stayed only one night with them and had a hard time leaving because of the wonderful team.

One of the best hotel experiences in all of our travels.

Great staff! They do their best to fulfill all your wishes. It is very personal. Best staff I've ever met in a hotel, worldwide. And I say this as a hotel manager. The hotel itself is simple, rooms big enough, bath room a bit small. But as I mentioned above: best staff ever. And that's why we come here again and again and

This place has really incredible staff. They definitely went above and beyond to make our stay in Wengen comfortable and fun. There was a storm on the mountain, so the rail and cable car were closed during part of our visit and they went out of their way to make sure we still had a great time in Wengen, despite the weather. We would definitely stay here again. Call them and you might get a better deal than booking online.
