  Quaint, very clean, and quiet hotel. Our superior room was spacious and had a majestic view of the Jung Frau peaks. Breakfast was excellent, included freshly boiled eggs cooked to-order, and house made jams. Also several cheeses, fresh bread, croissants, yougurt, fruit salad, and cold cuts.

  We could not have been happier with the Berghaus in Wengen. Having been to this delightful hotel over 25 years ago, to visit with my aunt and uncle who were staying there, I was delighted that the charm and character of the inn had not faded over time. It was just as beautiful as I remembered, and even more so, if that is possible! The owners, the Fontana family, were amazing hosts and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. They are excellent hosts, and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for an authentic Swiss experience in an amazing location.

  very helpful and warm welcome staff, they gave us a lot of information about the area. tasty breakfast, wonderful view from balcony!
  I arrived at 21:00 PM and I made a call to the hotel and told them I'm coming on 21:00 they came with car and pickup me from train station of Wengen to the hotel.
  the hotel closes at night and you can't do check-inn.
  hotel is classic and old design but good enough,
  very quiet there.

  Aldino picked us up at the station. When we looked out the double doors on our balcony to the Jungfrau mountains in the distance, I knew that Berghaus has the best location in all of Wengen. Don;'t stay in the village or near the train station. It's too loud with people and vehicles. Berghaus had
  THE BEST view. It was the epitome of Swiss mountain villages and mountains. There a large grassy field right outside and I saw a farmer and his wife use pitchforks to turn the hay over to dry. What a view!
  When I come back I will make sure I stay here again.
  You will not regret it.
