The whole place needs refurbishment, the personal is unfriendly as possible, the rooms and furniture are dirty, disgusting carpet, showers with no water pressure, food expensive and not good, stinking hammam and icy cold swimming-pool. The view is nice though not worth the price.

The main problems were the following:
1. My single bed was too small
2. My room was connected with internal doors to the rooms beside, so I could hear everything coming from the other rooms.

I stayed at this hotel recently for one night 11th August with my husband and sister. The location is beautiful with beautiful views of the lake. We liked the spacious room and bathrooms. One of the bathrooms did have some mould, other than that it was good.
We had to wait one hour to check-in. We arrived quite tired and were hoping to get refreshed and go out quickly. We complained to the staff at reception and one of the staff was not very pleasant about it. Hotels should make an effort to make sure rooms are ready on time, especially when you pay so much for a night. There is no complimentary tea/coffee nor a bottle of water offered by the hotel. Other hotels in Switzerland offered free breakfast/water even though we paid almost half the price. That was disappointing.
Overall it was a nice hotel. Needs to improve in the areas mentioned in my review.

Impresive place, with tones of history.
Great Lake view (cost minimum extra 300€/week).
Breakfast is not that spectacular, for example coffee really poor.
Free parking is more then limited 4-6 cars.

The Surroundings are beautiful.
Refurbishment for the bathrooms would be welcomed.

Updated after 4 days:
The swimming pool is really great. Unfortunately also the negative points are cumulating: Breakfast really poor, every day same stuff and this under well know ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Hotels.
Also the discipline or let say the respect to the sleep of the others (know we have 23:18 and room 515 give a s.. about respect to other willingness or need for sleep) so slowly we start questioning where we landed.

The hotel stays right on the shore of the lake. In good spring weather the flowers of the garden offer a magnificent view against the blue water. You also have a gorgeous sight from the large indoor swimming pool.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was beautiful and well-located, and the view was perfect.

The route to the pool was hard to understand (read: crazy), and the entire hotel's relationship with "Biotonus" was strange. It was unnerving to pass a doctor in the hall chatting with her patient about his cough. In addition, I was disappointed to find out that the sauna and steam-rooms were gender specific, so my wife and I couldn't sauna together. This was not mentioned in the descriptions.

Despite the quirks, I would stay again at the off-season price. At full price, I would look elsewhere.

Everything's good, amazing view from the balcony. The only thing to be aware of for those who expect a cattle with tea in the room - it is not there, even though stated on the website. They brought a cattle after we asked twice, but with no cups and no tea bags.

Needs serious update / renovation. Only thing going for it is great view of Lake Geneva and super easy to walk to the lake. Rooms and property have old musty, stained carpet. Stained wallpaper in room, some moldy spots in bathroom and not enough outlets. Hotel also oddly shares space with a medical clinic and I saw a doctor visit a patient in a room a few doors down from me. No free breakfast when 5 other properties I've stayed at in Switzerland all offer free breakfast.

I booked a room for my daughter and her friend for June 25. Besides cleanliness and a safe location, my top priority was free breakfast - important for a couple of college students. Using Expedia, I grabbed the last standard double room with breakfast included. However, when the confirmation email came through, it quoted breakfast as $25 USD - each! I was on the phone with Expedia 3 times during which time they contacted the Hotel. The hotel would not budge on the included breakfast nor allow me out of the reservation. So if booking here, take a screen shot of the amenities provided BEFORE booking. Then you will have proof that they are not honoring their advertised price and can deny payment through your Visa or Master Card.
