Our room had a spectacular view into the landscape of Gridelwald. There are several shops, restaurants and a small shopping mall (with supermarket) very close to the hotel (5 min walk). The main Grindelwald station is just about 5 min walk from the hotel where one can take trains to Jungfraujoch and interlaken.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. In fact when we had to leave quite early in the morning to catch the train to Jungfrau they packed us breakfast in advance so that we don't have to wait until the breakfast is arranged in house.

We had no problems with parking during the stay and it was free.

However, its not a luxury hotel. But for us it was perfect as we just needed a comfortable accommodation with a great view and good connectivity to Jungfraujoch

Wer eine einfache und günstige Unterkunft mit sehr nettem Service sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren als Gruppe schon öfters hier und es funktioniert immer sehr gut. Einfach die Autos müssen irgendwo anders geparkt werden. Auch wenn es wenig Plätze vor dem Haus hat, parkt man hier das Auto oft freiwillig anderswo, weil die Zufahrt steil und im Winter sehr eisig werden kann.

Très bon accueil, super propre, petit déjeuner excellent! Pas le grand confort d'un hôtel luxueux mais exactement ce qu'il faut pour un court séjour. Emplacement idéal dans Grindelwald, à 5min à pied de la gare!
