Rooms were well appointed and adequately but not overly spacious. Food at Le Buffet was good. Everything at usual Geneva prices.

Thank you so much to the hotel team they made our stay very special! I visited with my mum as a surprise trip for her birthday and they left a small gift and chocolates in the room. We love the hotel it’s a very warm and welcoming atmosphere!

stayed in the hotel during first week of Aug 2017, this hotel is rated as 4 star hotel but a 1 star in service, Air conditioning was not working even after changing rooms at the end they offered a fan! bed sheets are not changed unless we ask for. at check-out time they made a mistake in the bill and charged us 1000 Swiss F extra. very bad experiences in general, the one star that I gave is due to a very helpful person works at the hotel (Carlos)

Hotel Royal offers three things: convenience of food and location as well as good service. Itself it isn't the most fabulous or romantic hotel but it is 5 minutes from the train station and has very decent room for the price if you know where to look.

Room service was not executed while we were out, and there was no water at the hotel for 12 hours, for one night and one morning. Simply unacceptable experience for a 4 star hotel. Installations and locations are good.

Friendly and accommodating staff. GREAT location and comfortable rooms! Easy walk to main train station where trains run every 15 minutes to and from the airport. Tram line right outside the hotel makes getting around convenient.

Very good value for the price. Close to the main station, restaurants and the lake. Lobby and rooms are in the "Royal outfit", clean with friendly staff. The "Executive rooms" do not cost much more than the ordinary ones but offer a much bigger room and a bigger bathroom. It can be sometimes noisy because of the cars/trams/trains. I would book it again for my next stay.
