Sweet and lovely restaurant tucked away in a side street. I would go as far as claiming it is one of those hidden gems of Zurich when it comes to dining experience. All their products are fresh and excellent quality.

So thankful we stumbled upon this place because of its patio on a cute, cobblestone street off the beaten path because it was one of my favorite restaurant experiences across all of Europe! The seafood and the truffle pasta were so delicious that we ordered two. The manager and waiter were friendly and fun to interact with; they made our experience memorable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Best Italian food in Zurich?

The food and service is at the top level of what you will get in Zurich short of a michelin rating.

I've been here a lot on and off for 20+ years. Superb menu and service, wine selection from very good to.. forever.. Very nice restaurant inside and out. Just reserve in advance.

FYI - Anything less than 4* rating for this restaurant is nonsense. Ignore.

Not a place to go for the food. We ordered turbot and wasn't fresh at all and it was the tail cut, not worth 54chf a piece. The night we went in it was spinach night for everyone. Never saw a restaurant serving so much spinach.We don't mind to pay for high class restaurants but Bindella is not such place, unfortunately, Staff quite snotty, and with no manners, actually talking over us while we were having dinner to some people that they knew. For the money the least we can expect is some decent italian food and ambient but Bindella was not such place. We live in Zurich and will never go there again.

Not that impressed. Cute place to eat if you sit outdoors, inside is really dark and stuffy. Service is quite good, they were really attentive and nice. However the food was not impressive.

We ordered a rocket salad with shrimps as an appetizer and it wasn't bad but also felt like I could make it myself at home.

Then we got a spaghetti with tomatoes and basil and the seasonal truffles with home made pasta. Unfortunately both pastas were not cooked as al dente as we would like. And the tastes were very bland, again like something we could have at home.

However, we overheard the table next to us who all ordered different risottos and they were all raving about it. Maybe we should have gotten risottos instead. Oh well. Next time.

We love Italian food and frequently visit Italian restaurants. This is one of the best I have been to in years. The food is great (octopus with courgettes followed by veal in lemon sauce was out of this world). Service was also excellent. Clearly it is not cheap but its worth every penny.
