  nice small mountain where you can get a great view of Zurich and more
  easy to access with a small train..they get a nice restaurant and hotel "Uto Klum"..
  this is although a great spot for mountain bikeas they get a good trail there

  Definitely the best place to visit in Zürich. You can get the train there and then walk 5 min to the breathtaking views not only over the city, but also to the alps surrounding the lake. It's a must go in Zürich, and I cannot stress this enough (if the weather is sunny, or not too clouded). I got the train to 2/3 stops before Uetliberg and went hiking to the top. What amazed me was the many locals that hiked, jogged or biked to the top, but still sometimes I found myself alone on the hiking tracks through the forest. Along the way there are openings in the forest that allow for beautiful sneak peaks on the view over the city. Once you reach the top you realize how worth the journey up was! You can also pay 2 chf there to climb to a tower for higher views. And there's a good looking restaurant on the top for a snack or drink with a view. Overall 5/5 experience

  Should visit for sure. The hike from utikon waldegg car park (free). Easy enough walk. Not a lot of people around, some hikers, some cyclist. Fantastic view of Zurich and the lake plus surrounding areas. Worth the visit. 2chf or 2 EUR to use the observation tower. Although the day I visited was not 100% clear views were still good.

  Very beautiful view from there even you can go to the top of the tower and see all Zurich and alps , there is restaurant with delicious food and public toilets are there , you can get there by train or walking if you can but it's a bit long way.

  Uetliberg is a must for visitors. In sunny days you can even see the Alps. There is also a Restaurant and Hotel with very good food. Use the small train to go there and walk down back to town. Appx 45 walk on easy track.

  Beautiful views! You can see Alps, whole Zurich and other villages. You can have a sausage or a nice and cold beer. Easy to get here by train and then 6 min walk to the top. Must see.
