Really nice staff and very luxurous! The surroundings are also amazing: go walk by the water. Nice art there.

Beautiful place with wonderful views. I'd like to go back and try out the pool. Funky Claude's was a great place to grab a cocktail with wonderful service.

Not a child friendly place.
1. Pool timings for children are 2pm to 6pm. (most of this time they nap)!
2. Outdoor pool is not heated enough to bring a child to the pool.
3. No kids play area in the hotel.
Also they charge 45 chf for parking.
It is a great place for a romantic couple with paradise views to the lake! However the balcony (of the lake view room) faces the main road with traffic, so you cant sit there if you want privacy and some peace and quietness.
This is a luxury hotel with luxurious decor and rooms. Albeit our bathroom was not cleaned well when we arrived and the products were not as high end as we had seen in other 5 star hotels like Royal Evian etc.
Have to mention that the staff/concierge were not very welcome too. Every time we came back from an outing, the concierge would look at us suspiciously with a frown as if we could'nt afford to stay there!
Just writing this as we paid a good amount of money for our 3 nights stay and this 5 star hotel didnt meet our expectations.response / report this review -

Very rude, arrogant and useless. Booked and paid for this hotel in full 4 months in advance. When we got to the hotel after 28 hours of travel, they told us they had double booked the hotel and we had to find another hotel. How the hell is this possible. I had prepaid months in advance. This happened a month ago and I still have not been refunded the money I paid to stay there. Absolutely disgusted that a hotel could do this and not care at all about what they had done.

We are here for the Montreux jazz festival. The room at the Montreux Palace is quite comfortable and well-appointed and the amenities at the hotel are exceptional. The breakfast is not to be missed!

Amazing place to stay. Great view from the room, not forgetting how good the rooms themselves are. The place has a great restaurant. Their amenities are all also we'll maintained. Had a great stay.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, view from the room (lake view) is without any doubt the most beautiful I have seen from a hotel room. Room was not without issues (air conditioning was not working well and shower was either scalding hot or ice cold with no in between), but otherwise this was a five star experience with a decently sized room and beautiful facilities. Montreux is a beautiful little town as well.

Have been to a few high end hotels (Ritz,st Regis etc..) Fairmont is on par if not better. Really friendly staff. The breakfast is fantastic. The room with lake view is breathtaking. Being in Switzerland, everything is more expensive. So don't expect a huge room like you would in Asia hotels.

The best hotel I've been to in Switzerland however not the most luxurious one. Beautiful building, nice bright and spacious rooms. Great service, very friendly and professional staff with good sense of humor. I hate stiffness in high-quality hotels so I really appreciate the perfect ballance between professionalizm and positive attitude toward clients. Did I mention amazing view of Geneva Lake?
