It may not be the nicest hostel out there, but it's clean and staff is friendly. There are lockers in the rooms (and you can rent a lock at the front desk). You can also rent a phone charger. Bathrooms were kept clean and so was the kitchen (which includes a fridge with individual locked drawers). I felt very safe and I enjoyed my time here. It's also conveniently located.

Good staff, beautiful location. All international headquarters are very close to the hostel and could be visited by using no 15 bus. Public transport pass is freely given from hostel. You will got a kitchen and freezer for preparing your own meals. However the hostel price could be little bit cheaper.

Very good location. Close to the lake and train station. The rooms have about enough room for the given amount of people. That being said I like them. The staff are very nice.

Really clean, well equipped, comfortable rooms. Lockers in rooms, which you can get a lock for with a deposit in reception. Light and charging socket by bed (only moan is that socket is upside down and my travel adapter wouldn't stay in it). I had a shared room. Really lovely, helpful staff. Easy access to main station. Short walk down to Geneva Lake. Common room light and airy. Kitchen small but well equipped.

Geneva City Hostel is one of the most pleasant hostels I have stayed. The location is perfect and let's be honest, that's the most important. Everything is very clean, checkin and checkout went smooth, utilities, kitchen and bathrooms are great.
Only point of interest: it can be inconvenient that you need a key for the fridge and kitchen cabinets, for which you are required to deposit CHF10, but on the other hand that means that no one can touch your stuff.

Very close to the central station. Easy walk to the lake. Checked in very late on a Saturday night, so maybe not the fairest review, but cleanliness in bathroom was not great. Also a little noisy from the street. People on reception were helpful and nice.

Absolutely lovely place, fantastic staff very interesting people to talk to.
They spoke most languages so there was no difficulty in communication.
The facilities are fantastic and there was never any congestion.

The gentleman behind the counter shared his local knowledge of the best bars and clubs and even offered to draw us a map.

Brilliant place to stay, there is a big shop very close and lovely cafes all around

Great staff, and great location, in walking distance of metro. I loved this place because of the other hostels I've been, this one is more private and mature. If you want to sleep and not get woken up 8 times a night by drunk teens, this is the place. Easy storage, rooms even have a sink in them, very roomie and protect for 2 people. I will come again

Clean and tidy hostel , receptionist are very helpfull, provide a good map and explain all the details many tips and recommendations.

Extremely clean the staff is very polite and the prices are good for Geneva.
Situated 5 min from the railway station in a very live neighbourhood is at the meantime very quiet. Nearby there are a lot of ethnic and Swiss restaurants and cafeterias. Nearby also 2 big supermarkets

Had a single bed room and it was perfect for a guy travelling alone. It was clean and neat. It was comfortable. Enjoyed preparing quick meals in the shared kitchen. The bathrooms were clean. Great experience and relatively affordable compared to hotel rooms. Was able to watch BBC and other news while in my room. Perfect for affordable tourism.
