Very nice garden to have a meal or a coffee. Attracts wealthy-looking who shop around Bahnhofstrasse but don't be intimidated by that. The view is worth a quick cup of coffee and perhaps a dessert and you will be served just as nicely. Sunny days are wonderful here.

In the Baur au Lac I just visited the lobby bar, "Le Hall". But I can say that the place is lovely and the service was impeccable: the staff is kind, friendly and very professional! A great selection of tea, cocktails and fodd if you wish to have a meal there. Highly recommended!

The nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. I was here during the FIFA arrests and the staff was absolutely wonderful, with no dip in service despite the mad house of media surrounding the hotel. By far the most courteous, well trained, and experienced staff I have ever met. Also the rooms were lovely!
