This hotel is amazing! The hotel's restaurant is just as amazing! The staff is great and helpful for tips for walking the city. Will definitely be staying here when we come back to visit.
Nice hotel pretty basic breakfast. If you get a Room facing the square it can be a little noisy you also may hear people in the Room above. Everything is so expensive in zurich I guess this place is a good deal.
Honestly everything's seem very good. However the most unacceptable issue is no AC inside the room, esp in summer! The room inside only has fan and I feel like I am back to 70s. I don't think any 3 star hotel in the world could allow such to happen! Totally disappointed though bed is clean, food is great.
Great staff. Clean, well appointed room. No air conditioning though, so it got a bit hot in the room as the fan could only work so hard and the windows had to be closed during the night due to the noise from the restaurants and bars. Overall it was a great stay and we would certainly return.
We got a great welcome and were very pleased throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower very powerful, and the room had everything we needed. The toilet is right next to the glass door into the main bedroom. The glass in this door is only partially frosted, meaning you have very little privacy on the toilet if you're sharing the room with someone else. There is no air conditioning, but the fans they've provided do a good job of keeping you cool enough for a good night's sleep. I would stay here again.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best prices around
Rooms are nice and were clean. Complimentary drinks (two water, one coke) in room refrigerator included makes a weary traveler welcome and one less thing to do. Great location. Very busy and loud with people having fun and laughing. Windows shut and the noise outside stays outside like and on off switch. Lots of food very close.
I only stayed for one night but the hotel is charming. The bed was comfortable, a nice wood interior fitting of Zurich and a little fan to give a breeze from the summer heat. The location was perfect for a stroll through the beautiful streets and alleys or even down to the river. And only a short walk from the train station. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Loved the food. Crowded, noicy and always require booking. Friendly staffs and cook your own food at the table option.
Very nice room. Bed was comfortable. Liked the toiletries. Walls were thick and could not hear other rooms. The continental breakfast was tasty.
Rooms look nice & good location but the noise is an issue for me. You can hear everything going on whether you want to or not. Above, below, to the side, outside you hear it all.
I value quietness in a hotel, Adler is not for me as I'm a light sleeper
Went to Hotel Adler Zurich for our honeymoon and had the best stay. They gave us a room upgrade, and decorated the bed with rose pedals to make it romantic. The room was spacious, modern but still very traditional Swiss, and comfortable. The biggest 'plus' about this hotel is it's location. RIght in the center of a ton of restaurants and shopping in old town. We also went to the restaurant for dinner and it was to die for.
Clean and tidy. Good location. Staff were friendly and helpful when I had a bit of a booking issue. Hint: their standard operating procedure is for a family of three (2 adults plus a young child) to book two rooms but they were very nice and allowed us to stay together in one room. Restaurant opened 10 mins late at 6:25 for breakfast (incredible given that this is Switzerland) so be careful if you need to make an early train. That said, I would be glad to stay here again if I am not on a tight morning schedule.
