  It’s a beautiful hotel with great SPA.
  I was there in November, which is between seasons with ski lifts closed, but it was so easy to go on walks and hiking. The area around is breathtakingly beautiful.
  The whole hotel team, from reception to restaurant, was extremely helpful and friendly.
  Outdoor swim-in / swim-out hot tub and lounge with log fire were my favourites.
  Good food and the mountain goat stew (chamoix) is to die for!
  5 stars all over.
  If you looking for a high quality stylish hotel away from crowds (Aspen is about 3Km from Grindelwald village), this is a perfect destination.

  Very beautiful location. But there was a road block that forced us to drive in very dangerous roads.
  
  The rooms are small and comfortable. The services are quick .
  
  The trip advisor were a little bit confused but very nice.

  It was really amazing place with beautiful views from my room , clean place , good staff , the best is serving Hala food :) . For sure I will go back again to same hotel . Thank you a lot Aspen Hotel :)

  Wonderful structure. Great attention to detail - so why cant they get rid of the flies? Have water bags, lemon and cloves or anything to get rid of them from this pristine and serene place!

  The room was tiny for the money. The room was dirty and they didn't even provide tea and coffee in the room. Service was non-existant. No one was rude but nobody seemed to care when we spoke to reception or at breakfast. Overall was really disappointed.

  We stayed at the Aspen Grindelwald in June 2017 for three nights. The Aspen is perfectly scaled as an intimate alpine getaway with the feeling of a chalet but with the amenities that one often finds in larger hotels. Its breathtaking location at the foot of the Eiger face, friendly and attentive staff, cutting edge architecture and design and great food and wine selection make it a gem.
  
  Our family of four, which included our 21 and 18 year olds used it as our home base for hikes in the surrounding meadows, the higher alps near Grindelwald and for adventure activities such as paragliding, which the staff helped organize.
  
  Our rooms were cozy but impeccably appointed with a modern yet warm design sensibility. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage arranged by the Aspen team in their beautiful spa. The hotel serves complementary tea and cakes in the afternoon and the evening dinners in the beautiful dining area lent itself to friendly conversations with other guests. A Swiss family was generous with their tips on hikes and local wines and as we sipped wine, basking in the Alpen glow, it brought together that most exceptional of feelings, harmony, bliss and joy.
  We left with fond memories of our stay and appreciation for the friendly staff. Someday hope to be back in the winter to ski.

  My words don't do this place justice. Imagine yourself coming back to the hotel's splendid spa after a wonderful hike next to cows and meadows. Life doesn't get much better than this!
