They have ONE job simply to deliver packages. They don't do this and their "attempts" are laughable. Now I have to go way out of my way to pick up a package that I paid extra to have shipped to me quickly. I will never use UPS again and will strictly avoid any company that uses them as their shipping method. I will also be telling everyone else to avoid using their services.
This place is a joke. Drivers don't carry phones? So now I have to drive to the airport to pick up my package. Great. Before 6pm Monday to Friday? What if you work 9-5. Never using UPS. Pro tip, if you are thinking about Purlator instead, don't. Also doesn't carry phones. If you hate the person you are sending it to, send it UPS or Purlator.
I never been treated this rude before, first of all, they dont tell you where to park/go if you just wanna pick an item. Second, when you're passing the "area", you are told to use the door from security post, and exit with the same door and get yelled at. They said i cant use that door and need to walk all the way around the building to get into the parking area. They are so rude. Never ever want to pick an item or use ups ever again
Similar theme. No attempt to contact the recipient and did not leave a pick up card. The tracking information on the website was inaccurate and was only able to find out the location via the telephone help center. The helpful staff member on the phone however deserves praise for her efforts.
Just rode my bike to pick up a package at this location as a result of the delivery driver did not accept card, nor did have change for me to pay the duty on my package. (This is 2017!). As far as this location goes, it is quite out of the way but getting in and out of the facility is no problem, not sure about the other reviews but I had no issues at all. I believe CBSA do inspections here so there is heightened security. Was in an out in 10 minutes, nothing special, just your typical package pickup shop!
Terrible service. The drivers lie and say they attempted delivery/pickup when they have not. Unacceptable level of service
Worst service ever. I am reluctant to even give 1 star but I must in order to leave a review.
My package has been 'out for delivery' for 2 days now. Waste of time calling customer service because they have no idea where the package is and can't be of any help. I have no idea why so many companies choose to do business with UPS when they have such consistantly poor performance. Boo! UPS. Boo to you!!!
Ups is super slow and the service sucks.
I paid 300 usd$ for express order and it suppose to come on Friday and it's Tuesday still now here and online the info is unavailable, I'm leaving town tonight so if I did not get before 3 pm it's a waste of money,
Trying to get package which was to be delivered yesterday. Telephone 1-800 number doesn't let you talk to a person. Apparently my pa cl is on hold due to wildfires. I'm in Delta for Pete's sake. No wildfires!
Worse delivery service ever. On Friday, we waiting all day until 6:15pm and no one shows up. Then at 6:38pm it showed first attempt and no one was home. Now I have to wait for Monday. (How can they not deliver on weekend???) This time I left a note on the door, "pls call if no one is answering the bell" (I could be in the washroom). Waited. I checked my email at 2:40pm it said "second attempt at 2:18". I was at home all day and didn't hear any bell!!!!!! I called 1-800 and told them my situation and asked them to tell the driver to drive back. They said the driver usually don't drive back to fail attempts. I told them I left a note and my package is urgent! I said I won't be town the next day. They still said not
. I told them I'll pack it up myself.(I live in Richmond) they said they will call me again to confirm.
So in the end they end up calling me and said the driving is coming in 5mins (I waited for 10) the driver showed up didn't apologize at all. I didn't bother ask him about the note I left for him. Reading others' reviews and find out I'm not the only one!! Worse service!!
Probably the absolute worst Courier company - regret my customer uses them despite the fact they consistently deliver partial shipments.
UPS sucked today. Didn't leave me a notification about not received item in my mailbox, didn't drop the item in the nearest location, only sent a postcard which arrived 4 days later and didn't leave me time to pick it up in the location which is at anothor part ofvthe city 12 miles away from home. There is no public transit to there. What if i didnt have a car? Are you still passionate about you job UPS? Now you're going to ship the item bact to Ontario and to Vancouver again. Stupid.
Good customer service. Did not get the results i was after when i picked up or tried to.but the service rep did everything she could to make it happen
I was charged an $80 brokerage fee payable to UPS on a package valued $200. I decided to self-clear the package to avoid the scam company known as UPS. A quick google search will list some instructions on self-clearing your package with CBSA. UPS' brokerage fees are not the standard; I have never in my life had to pay a brokerage fee of $80 on a $200 package.
If the courier attempts to charge you a brokerage fee, I'd recommend that you refuse the payment and ask for your package to be returned to the warehouse. Chances are that you'll have to travel to their warehouse anyways seeing as the couriers seldom knock or buzz during their deliveries. The CBSA customs clearing office is conveniently (and somewhat suspiciously) located directly next to the UPS pick-up office/warehouse in Richmond. Despite UPS' efforts to have you believe otherwise, C.O.D brokerage charges go directly to UPS and are NOT border customs taxes. UPS hired a 'broker' on your behalf to clear your package without your consent. Self-clearing your package will often save you $50 or more. Don't let this dumb, joke of a company try to even swindle their way into making you pay an extra dollar.
Their customer service representatives are outsourced and their couriers are either incredibly lazy or have been trained to do anything and everything but actually delivering you your mail. I sincerely hope that UPS goes out of business.
UPS is one of the 'better' carriers, in my opinion.
They do not ship parcels to the wrong city (Vancouver vs. Richmond), and they do not make you pick up parcels in their warehouse 1 city away.
I have never had issues with picking up parcels at this location, but that's because I am driving - But it is probably an awful task for people who use public transit. STILL better than what 2 competing carriers do though.
The airport location was staffed by two polite and helpful workers today. One of them helped me unload a heavy table onto my car.
