Unfortunately, it's taken me awhile to post this as I was waiting for the official word from the College of Veterinarians of Ontario to conclude their investigation of Badri (sorry not sorry for not calling him a doctor as he doesn't deserve that title). He was suspended for 3 months which is a big joke. My case along with another owner resulted in his 3 month suspension. He killed a cat (left a catheter in the cat which resulted in an infection and death)- and in my case, what was suppose to be a routine teeth cleaning turned out to be my little guy having ALL his teeth extracted! That's him in my profile picture during happier times. Badri did not get permission, did not administer proper anaesthesia, did not follow proper procedure- pretty much gross incompetent and professional misconduct all around. I won't even get into the details as it would make you sick and really really sad that he's still able to work as a vet. I can say this all now as it's all documented by the CVO. How he can sleep at night is beyond comprehension. My heart breaks everyday when I look at my pup knowing I put him in the hands of this sorry excuse of a human being. If this guy is your vet, you are gambling with your pet's health and safety. Know he showed zero compassion, concern or remorse. The same day he removed all my pups teeth I asked him what should I do now and he shrugged and said "Take him home, give him soft food I guess". He was hospitalized at another clinic for two weeks after that ordeal as they had to fix all the damage that Badri caused.

While the tech staff are great, the owner is brutal. Surprise charges for things without inquiring first, slags other operations; just not great to see if your pet needs assistanceor anything. If you love your pet, there are far better locations to go to.

Attn pet owners, please read this:
Vet wasn't able to answer the simple question of: is my puppy in heat or could it be a UTI. Spent 45 min waiting for the appointment. Spent 10 min with the tech taking down my info and trying to up-sell me on testing. Then followed by approx. 3 min. With the vet who also kept trying to up-sell me on testing (I'm here in regards to finding out if my puppy is in heat for the 1st time, why are you discussing fecal matter testing with me?). When I went to pay, they tried to charge me nearly double ($150) for testing that wasn't performed. I had to clarify testing wasn't done and then paid $80 and left with my unanswered question. When I asked why 3 min. Of the vets time with no answer was charged at $80, I was told "so what, you paid for a consultation" by the vet himself. Cheap and quick things. The vet was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Wasn't pushy about selling us medications like most of the other vets. you get what you pay for. They even offered us a free re-check for our cat who had ear infection.

Brought in my dog who wasn't eating and was very impressed by the service I received (it was a Sunday so they were the only place open in the area). Don't remember the doctor's name, but she was great. Later that day we were up all night with a dog who was vomiting blood, pretty scary, so we went back to the clinic first thing Monday. This time and from that point on I was dealing with Dr. Badri and do not wish to do so ever again. He was very unclear in his explanations, cut us off when we attempted to ask questions, didn't listen to anything we had to say about our dog's usual habits, and mentioned multiple times (without adding any reason or thought process) that "ya know, we'll probably have to cut him open." I paid a deposit and received an estimate for blood work, a set of xrays, overnight hospitalization, IV fluids, and antibiotics. I also signed a paper stating that if any other procedures needed to be done that I be called in advance. While the clinic had my dog overnight Dr. Badri performed at least two more sets of xrays before the bloodwork even came back (no explanation as to why and I was NOT called beforehand). The bloodwork came back to reveal that my dog had a bacterial infection, so I was told he needed about a week's worth of antibiotics. No problem. Also no need for the doc to mention *again* that he might have to "cut him open." When I did pick up my dog later that afternoon I was handed a bill for around $600 more than my estimate. When I inquired as to the difference I was told I was paying for all of the xrays Not a chance considering I specifically signed to be called before any additional procedures. To that I got a pretty snarky "Well we were just trying to save your dog's life If you don't want to pay for it, I'll take it off." Not my point, I have no problem paying for procedures that were vital/deemed necessary/effective, but why have a contract with a "please call me first" option if you are just going to do whatever you want? Totally unprofessional in terms of doing business as well as in the way I was spoken to. No idea why Dr. Badri was so obsessed with performing surgery with no apparent reason, but I'm guessing he gets people to agree to that cost not knowing better. That first female doctor was great, I would be willing to find out when she works and only go back then. Otherwise, go elsewhere!

I love this Clinic and the Staff. Very excellent help and they helped my Dale through very painful surgery. He has been so well since!!! Thank you❤

It was worst experience I got, twice visited this animal clinic with wounded dog feet, treated with expensive cost first time over 700$, second time over 400$ Not fix problem at all, will try other animal clinic nearby.

They helped me in an emergency with my kitten. They made a space available on a very busy Saturday 6:30 PM. The consultation price seemed fair and the staff Jessica was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend!

I had what I thought was an emergency on a Sunday morning. I'm new to Toronto and only had my dog for less than 2 weeks. They took my dog and were fabulous throughout the entire process. They explained everything clearly to me, didn't try to pressure me into anything unnecessary and were so kind and patient. They will definitely be my vet hospital for anything I need from now until I leave the city.

Brought my dog in who was bleeding from presumably broken glass (they were the nearest clinic). Given I spent years working in a vet clinic uptown and currently bandage up people for a living, I preferred to buy the materials from them rather than pay $70 plus tax to have her looked at when I could clean and treat at home. I made this decision after meeting two of the DVMs who clearly couldn't care less about the dog (no hello or goodbye for that matter). After I paid for the bandaging, they made it clear I better be quick about wrapping her up "because we have appointments coming in." The place was deserted. She's an injured dog and they would have preferred she walk home on an open wound if they weren't being paid to treat her. Gave two stars because I appreciated being able to purchase the materials, but otherwise couldn't get out fast enough.
