I'm so happy I made the switch to property management with Tom Sheild's Realty.
We had the misfortune of buying a Condo that is not ideal as a rental. With limited parking and high vacancy rate it was a struggle to fill our rental property. I was frustrated interviewing people and spending time maintaining, cleaning and dealing with leasing agreements. It was just an added burden trying to collect rent or ensuring the condo was in the same condition on move out and move in of tenants. We also found out that there is an issue with the common wall in-between units not being sealed properly.
Dori Marks at Tom Shields went above and beyond to ensure that our property was taken care of. After struggling for months to get it filled by myself I turned to them and they had lined up a new tenant in no time at all. I no longer had to deal with interviewing countless people and trying to select a suitable renter. I didn't have to worry about credit checks, pets or cleaning. What a relief. She suggested different ways to deal with the smells that came from the neighbouring unit and even picked up a air purification system to put in our unit so I didn't have to bother running around to price them out and get one.
