Bedding doesn't get changed stayed there for 3 week's not once was it changed didn't even take out the graage .. left my medication in my nite stand after checking out. Later that day i noticed I was missing an needed it . Called there an they lied to me saying they went to check it out an nothing was there . I personal went there they let me into my room I was staying 213 an there was my medication I needed . Huge stress relief . The fact they lied to me saying they went up to check when they disn't ! Pisses me of. What happened to good customer service??? .. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH 139.00 A NITE . ! Dirty quits an floors . Not highly recommended! !.

I enjoyed the fact that there was a hottub in my room, was very disappointed with breakfast.. dry cereal, dohnuts or toast/waffles. Not much of a selection for the price you paid to stay in the hotel

I stayed at this hotel on the night of Aug 18 2017. I found bedbugs in the sheets. I put a few of them in a Ziploc bag and brought them down to the front desk in the morning. The front desk clerk freaked out, and called the exterminator. I was told that the manager would have to be contacted to get a refund, and she was unavailable. I left after that.

When I called the hotel the next week, I was told that the exterminator could not find anything, when I asked if the exterminator was given the Ziploc bag the desk clerk said "I do not know". I asked for the manager to call me back, I still have not heard anything.

That's the extent of what was done. Will never stay their again.

I have stayed at this motel many times and always had great service. But the last time was a different story It was 30° outside and the AC in my room didn't work. It was probably over 40° and felt the heat wave as soon as I opened the door. I hardly slept all night because it was unbearably hot. I asked for a discount in the morning which they refused to give then when I walked out from the breakfast room with a muffin and a travel mug I was "kindly" informed that the goods in the continental breakfast room must be consumed in said room This was the last time they will receive any of my money

Terrible service. Checked in, didn't use anything while putting luggage in the room, went for dinner, received a call and had to return home so we went back to the hotel to retrieve luggage and told them our situation and nope they wouldn't help. Even called HQ and still no help. So we paid a full night rate for leaving our luggage in the room for an hour. We've stayed at western budget in gp and others quite regularily won't be doing that again.

"Urine soaked bed"

I have been staying with Western Budget Motels for 20 years around the province. It is usually a lousy bed, but the king bed with the jet tub is a pretty good gimmick and I usually go for it and just suffer through the lousy bed. this occasion, I actually went to bed and slept and realized midway through the night that my comforter smelled bad. I threw off the comforter and slept the rest of the night. in the morning, I called the front desk and requested fresh bedding. That evening, I returned only to find that the room smelled of Febreze. I climbed into bed and realize that I could smell and overpowering smell of urine. I called the front desk and complained to the staff as well as the housekeeping staff. Not only did they rent me a room and actually that had a dirty bed and soil bedding, but after specifically requesting a change of bedding, the bed was remade with the same urine soaked bedding as the night before. I was disgusted and extremely grossed out. I couldn't get ahold of the manager for weeks. I left many messages and I pissed off all of the front desk girls. One of them even told me that I would never talk to the manager because management doesn't care about the customers. I finally decided to go to head office, because I was so disgusted and upset. I demanded that somebody know that these rooms aren't being cleaned properly and I wanted a refund of my two nights back. After several calls to head office in Vernon British Columbia, and no less than 20 calls to the Grande Prairie location, I eventually had one night's worth refunded to my credit card. I will never stay at any of the provinces Western Budget Motels again, because head office wouldn't even deal with me properly. I understand that each location is a private franchise, but I was completely let down by both the local front desk management as well as head office. Ridiculous, disgusting, wrong.
