Update: I am sorry to report that it is now permanently closed, On the bright side - It looks like a new restaurant will be opening in the spot soon.
We had the jerked chicken and the jerked pork. Really good. Will go back.response / report this review -

Every time we go, it's the same waitress. And every time we go, she is unbearably unpleasant. The atmosphere is very dark and unless you're drinking, expect to get sleepy. The food, however, is immaculate.

One of my favourite restaurants in the city and I have lived here all my life and try to eat at as many different places as I can whenever I go out. Food is always delicious, portions are large and prices are very reasonable considering the last two points. Environment is unique and charming in it's Caribbean theme. Staff is friendly and casual, definitely a spot to check out. One point to mention, service can sometimes be a bit slow
