Decent spot but we went there during the day on a weekend and it was quite quiet. Looks like a great place for after work drinks. The food was decent but didn't blow my socks off. Great beer selection

Great venue, amazing sound quality, super friendly staff and so many great beers on tap. It's a tight anal intimate place. Be prepared to rub elbows on a busy weekend night. But hey, that's half the fun!

Since the place was saved & purchased by the Donnelly Group, the few changes to the space look great & the music rocks. There's good choices of spirits & beer, however, don't be thinking you're gonna get good food too because obviously too much responsibility. Case in point, you can clearly see photos of food & details for each plate posted clearly for customers to also see. Even odder, is its obvious that the cooks don't adhere to this because a few of us ordered the pretzel yet it was merely a rolled bread baked, brushed over abundantly with oil and sesame seeds sprinkled atop. There were a few other issues w/food but the group opted to not complain because of the happily appreciated diligent server (Danielle) that kept our drinks going.

Great little pub with live music. Lots of fun, and decent food/beer choice. It is small though, and it may be difficult to walk around by the bar

Little hidden place for only special people to come, that's how it appears to me. Love the style, food menu with great prices and an evening entertainment. When I am in dt, this is my #1 place to go to.

It has returned under the simpler title The Railway and it's fresh and clean! Otherwise identical - a long standing venue for live music. There is a less obvious games room in the back, with a pool table and shuffleboard.

I love the Railway Club, it will be missed. Highlights were the beat up floors, and delicious pizzas.

This was a destination live music venue. Super dive-bar vibe, dark, crowded and up a narrow, sketchy flight of stairs. Tried my first Laphroaig here; they used to have a pretty good Scotch list. And bands. Lots and lots and lots of bands. One of the last old places (I remember Richards on Richards. Tear.) and they'd been looking for a buyer. Apparently costs went up too much. They announced their closure a couple weeks ago. RIP.

If you are looking for violent indigestion and food poisoning, this is the place to go. I can drink the same beer and have a burger elsewhere, but whenever I've been here vomiting and diarrhea are the result. They are also the cheap and nasty with service - overcharge you at the bar regularly for the special pint - and want you to pay extra for ketchup with the burger! (Good luck if you need a napkin!)

I love the "Rail". Legendary venue and cool vibe. Best part is it's usually void of judgemental douche bags like Scott Bailey! HA!
