Quick update on little superhero SUPERARIANNA: Arianna is currently in wpg. She has had one chemo shot, and is scheduled for a lumbar puncture with another chemo shot after that. So far responding very well to treatments, and seems to be in good spirits. No word yet on when she is returning to Brandon.
Everyone please continue to keep her and her family in your thoughts, and continue to send this amazing superhero princess words of encouragement.

Hello and good morning everyone! We would like to thank everyone for their support, and encourage everyone to continue to be a hero for someone, each and every day! You never know the difference you can make in a child's life by just being the hero they need!
We would also like to encourage everyone to consider being a part of a separate event we are holding on Oct 6th.
We will be attempting to break the current world record for most heads shaved in one hour by one person! We will need a total of 76 people who are willing to have their heads shaved, but would prefer to have 100 on hand just to be safe. Right now, we stand at a little over 50 people.
The event will be held in conjunction with a family fun day we are having at our Grim Acres Scare Away Cancer location. There will be music, games, kids carnival, concessions, and more. All proceeds raised in conjunction with the event will go to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family fun day will be from 1-5pm, and the record attempt will be from 2-3pm. We have had a few people asking about the SACA zip hoodies. While we hadn't really planned on selling any (they are a bit costly, but SOOOOOOO comfortable), we are always open to ordering some for anyone who would like to order.
Each shirt runs at around 57.25 each, plus tax (strictly the cost provided to us from the production company, SACA will in no way profit from this). We will be taking orders directly during the first week or two of August, and orders MUST be prepaid in advance. Orders will likely take between 2-4 weeks to come in.
Anyone wanting the zip hoodies, please let us know in advance so we can add your name to the list no later than August 11 so we can order one batch in bulk. Thank you.

Let's all show our support! SuperOllie and his family have all been through so much! Let's all stand with them and get ready to give a big old Superhero and SuperManitoban cheer as Oliver and family get ready to cross the finish line tomorrow, victorious!

A couple of really nice people in Pennsylvania sent out this video from Elsa and Anna from the movie Frozen to Arianna to help keep her spirits up! Arianna is a strong princess who will beat cancer and show the world what she can do! Let's continue to help cheer her on! Special thanks to our Krissy and her friend, and everyone in Pennsylvania! There is no doubt that I am a dork. But I'm a dork who is willing to be an even dorkier dork if it means I can help cheer on a true SUPERHERO. SUPEROLLIE has been a true SUPERHERO to all of us, and we want to keep sending positive thoughts his way, to his parents and family! A big old congratulations to Oliver for continuing to show cancer that SUPEROLIVER will never be beaten! In honour of that, Clark Kent was able to get SUPEROLLIE on the front page of the Daily Planet for his heroic deeds! Let's all keep him in our thoughts, and focus on helping him to keep cancer away forever!

It is now confirmed, we at SACA are on board to send a video out to an amazing, strong little girl named Arianna in Brandon, Manitoba. We should have one person dressed as Elsa from Frozen who will send out a superhero support video to her and her parents. We may also have someone who can dress as Anna from Frozen. Anyone who is dressed as a superhero who wants to send a video is also welcome. Here is a little bit of quick info: Her name is Arianna . She was diagnosed with All B cell Leukemia, Dec 14th 2017 and she turned 3 Dec 17th 2017 while in HSC cancer care.

Hello, everyone! A quick update: I hope to be sending out another video to our first little hero, SuperOllie in the next few days. If anyone wants to join in as a character and send him a video, just let me know, and I can get you his info!
We also may be working on a project for someone right here in Brandon, so please stay tuned. Once I have more info, I will be sending it out, and may need some local heroes to help out with more videos as well.
As we've said before, sometimes, all a child needs to help make their day is someone who is willing to be a hero for them. Remember the smiles. That is the greatest reward.
