first experience in an escape room and can’t wait to go back! we wanted to do the lost jewel one but it was booked so we did the lucky ducky, and it was so much fun!! there was only two of us and unfortunately we didn’t get out. they say time flies when your having fun and let me tell you that was the fastest hour of my life! definitely harder than i was expecting, but in a good way!! can’t wait to go back and try more
We have played 30+ Escape Rooms and chose Enigma during our spring break trip to Winnipeg. They have so many games to choose from! Our family played 4 games and we loved them all. Immersive settings, fun surprises, excellent game-masters, great puzzles, and fantastic, logical flow to the games. Definitely challenging but not impossible. Thank you for working so hard to enhance our experience! Next time we visit Winnipeg from Minnesota, we’ll be back!
I've done numerous escape rooms, mostly with The Real Escape. My first time with Enigma was the Voodoo room. The props/decorations are far better with Enigma! They went all out. The only thing that I felt could have used improvement was the "flow" of the room. With The Real Escape, each clue leads to the next and the next and so on. With Enigma- the clues are more scattered and don't necessarily relate to the previous clue or the next clue. I felt it wasn't as "structured" which led to alot of delays and wasted time. I still had a great time and will continue going to Enigma on Keenlyside.
Went to the keenleyside location tonight for my girlfriends birthday and it was a blast! I went with people I had just met and we were a little concerned we didn’t know each other but we made it out! Our game master was very friendly and he made the experience very fun. I will definitely be back!
I am writing this review purely because customer service for this company is amazing. We had a few glitches with our first time at Enigma. I emailed just to inform them and they went WAY beyond to solve the issues. I am excited to try another room! Keep up the great work!!
Such a great time! Some of us had done escape rooms before but others hadn't, this was loads of fun, and harder to figure out that I had initially thought. Well planned out re: clues, themes and all around atmosphere. Will definitely do it again!
We had so much fun at Enigma Escapes Keenleyside! Our group was 6 people ages 13 to 43 and everyone had a great time. Everyone participated, it was challenging and exciting! (and we made it out with 8 mins. to spare!
Did the Top of the Charts room and we escaped. Had a couple of minor glitches but in all was a lot of fun!! Would definitely try another room.
It was my first "Escape" and we all had a lot of fun figuring out the puzzles and getting out in time! We tried "What happened in Raven Woods" poor Alex!!Would have been super embarrassed not to make it out of there though!!
We had a terrific time in the voodoo room. We will definitely be back. The kids can't stop talking about how awesome it was !! Good job see you again
Amazing quality, top-notch rooms! Did 2 rooms this morning and can’t wait to go back!
Awesome! So much fun! The rooms have loads of detail and Enigma has fantastic staff! Love the waiting lounge area at the Keenleyside location too.
We escaped "what happened in Raven Forest". It was the best escape room I've ever done. Great story line! Very interactive! Loved it!!
Great time! Great staff! Fun puzzles. I would recommend this escape room!
Ravenwood- The whole setting and scene was poorly made even though the idea was good. Include more things, make it feel like we are in a scene not an office space. Puzzles werent that interactive and fun. A couple puzzles I disagree with the solutions too. I didn't mind our game master but she needs to be more active and engaging (not specifically her, whoever made it should plan it out better). At least she was nice and cute tho!
Not worth the money at all. 6 people all at $25 felt like a rip off compared to The Real Escape and Time Lapse Escape.
I went with my family for Moms Birthday and it was a new experience for all but one of us. Everyone enjoyed I was more of an observer and took it all in while my sisters and nieces ran around trying to unlock things and find codes! Its so neat and something everyone should try at least once! Its quite funny how serious everyone gets like we were really deactivating a bomb!! Lol fun fun we ranged in age 5 to over 50! It was fantastic that everyone found enjoyment.
I liked the room the only thing I did not like was the room walls were not built to the ceiling and you could hear other people in the other rooms next to you and it could take away from the next room as we could hear how they were solving cluesit just took away from the experience of being "locked" in a room
We did two rooms in less than w week while my husbands teenage girls visited. We just happened to have the same game master each time, which was fun since that added to the experience. We brought our 2 year old the first time and she also had a blast! I love that we could bring the entire family and feel welcome.
The puzzles were fun to figure out, and some were a bit easier which was fun for the younger kids. We'll definitely be back. Not only because of the fun rooms, but also the owners and the staff. Fantastic guys! Thank you!!!
We've done a number of Enigma's escape rooms and have really enjoyed them. We are escape room junkies so we've tried quite a few in Winnipeg. Last night, we were fortunate to be one of the first groups to try Top of the Charts and it was awesome! It's quite hard - definitely one of the most difficult rooms we've tried yet - and has tons of creative variety in the puzzles - really well done!!! Highly recommend!
My very first experience at an escape room and did not disappoint. Whole facility is clean and the room we chose (the pirate one) was interactive, lots of fun and puzzles to solve. Everyone in our group had their own contribution (there were 10 of us). Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Gamemaster was really cool and encouraging. (especially for first timers like me). Kudos to Enigma!
