After seeing so many great reviews, I was apalled at the experience I had. The session was fine, I chose the photos I wanted printed, and at that time I was asked what, if anything, I wanted touched up. To which I specifically stated that I ONLY wanted any marker spots removed (my son had drawn on himself while we were there) and any weird fly away hairs touched up. Needless to say I was shocked when the 16x20 photo that was meant to be hung on my living room wall came back with my chest having been "enhanced", without my consent. A few weeks later I received a promotional call from the studio, to which I replied that I wouldn't be coming back due to the negative experience I had. Kathleen then got in touch with me and seemed genuine in her apology for the experience and even offered to re-do the print without that modification, which I thanked her for and accepted. It has now been months and I have yet to hear back about this.
Over $600 later and I have less than a dozen prints to show for it, and my living room wall is still without the family photo we went there for to begin with.response / report this review -

Couldn’t be happier with our family pictures. I have a 3 year old and he was in no mood to have his picture taken, Kathleen used some serious skills and patience to capture my boys and I smiling at the same time. Great studio!

Kathleen is the best photographer in Montreal. I have been a long-time client for several years for family portraits and commercial work. My family absolutely loves the time they spend with Kathleen, who is a bundle of energy. My kids don't even realize they're doing a photo shoot because of all the fun they're having. I am always amazed at the time Kathleen spends with my wife and I reviewing all of the photos and helping us select the right ones. For all of your photography needs, you can't beat Kathleen!

We visited Cookie on the recommendation of my sister during a short vacation to Dorval recently.
From the off, we were very impressed with owner and proprietor Kathleen Girard’s professionalism and her enviable ability to keep four young children under control, no mean feat.
Kathleen’s obvious enthusiasm ensured that we were able to capture several beautiful images of our two children alongside their cousins in addition to an assortment of family portraits.
From our experience, it is clear that Kathleen and her staff set themselves the highest possible standards and consistently exceed them.
