  UPON TAKING SOME TIME OFF AND AFTER MUCH REFLECTION I HAVE DECIDED TO CLOSE CAIRO. I WILL BE RETURNING TO UNIVERSITY TO EARN ANOTHER BACHELOR DEGREE.

  THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR ALLOWING ME TO PURSUE ONE OF MY DREAMS. THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT. I HAVE MET SO MANY AMAZING PEOPLE AND THE DECISION TO CLOSE DID NOT COME LIGHTLY.

  In honour and appreciation of the best coach ever, Yves Charette. I have had highly skilled coaches for 15 years and this man puts them in the student's position.

  Long story short, Whoever says Yves Charette Team Shredder, today ( July 21 ), will be treated for something on the house. Happy belated birthday Sir.

  Probably one of the best Shawarma sandwiches I've ever had is made right here. The ingredients are all fresh and made right before your eyes. Mohamed's customer service is simply amazing! One of their best kept secrets is their Egyptian coffee. It's hands down one of the top coffees out there. He's even been so kind as to open his doors early for me to get one! Can't beat that kind of service.

  I have heard so many positive reviews of this place my wife and I decided to try it for lunch, we were not disappointed. The cafe itself is quaint and although it was busy we were lucky and got a table.
  
  
  
  Having eaten Middle Eastern food before in NYC and Toronto we were acquainted with the flavors and wanted to try some different things. The menu is perfect as it has a small but wonderful variety of choices for all tastes and diets. We ordered the Shawarma Sandwich and the Kofta Kabab Sandwich and took our seats. It's an open concept kitchen so we could watch as they prepared our sandwiches.
  
  
  
  It's not so much a sandwich as it is an incredible wrap on some of the freshest flatbread we have ever eaten. We watched as they piled on fresh veggies including pickled turnip (outstanding) and wonderfully aromatic meats, then the garlic sauce (or as they call it in NYC "crack sauce"). The wraps were rolled and then put in a press to warm and crisp them up perfectly.
  
  
  
  The only flaw in the process was that I wasn't offered the hot sauce and when I realized it was available I had to return and have them add it. It was worth it if you enjoy a bit of heat.
  
  
  
  All in all a fantastically unique and affordable lunch downtown that we will return to again and again.
  
  
  
  My wife and I also echo the many comments on herethe coffee is outstanding!

  AND everything is dairy free (with the exception of rice pudding).

  The chicken shawarma is incredible. I discovered this restaurant a couple months ago and I crave their sandwiches. I always recommend this restaurant to my friends and they are always super impressed. The owner is such a kind and welcoming man who takes pride in serving amazing food.

  Finally Sudbury has a good shawarma place! The food here is amazing. Everyone also raves about the coffee so I have to go back and try it. Muhammad, the owner is friendly and makes all the food himself. This place will be a lunchtime favourite from now on!

  WOWthis place is addictive!!! Tried everything on the menu (all super deliciousincluding the coffee!!!) but the shawarma is incredible. Delicious food & friendly owners. I recommend everyone give this place a try.I guarantee you will go back.

  Amazing place the food is delicious the coffee is some of the best I've tasted. the owner is friendly which makes for a comfortable setting I highly recommend eating here my mouth is watering just thinking about the shwarma

  Had the opportunity to try out their chicken shawarma today for lunch. Absolutely phenomenal. Great flavors and great quality ingredients. Couldn't have made it better myself. Kudos to the owner, keep it up! Looking forward to trying every item on their menu. Highly recommended!

  Came here for dinner for the first time today and LOVED it. The owner and staff were friendly, the restaurant is cozy and the food was fantastic. The Egyptian coffee is a MUST. I've never had anything like it.
