AVA Winners' Week
We're starting our Awards of Distinction winners today with two amazing women.
Community Champion Recipient: Katrina Francella
Katrina is affectionately known as Koach Katrina and as the owner of Koach Katrina . The Klub. As a business owner, personal trainer, and positive relationship builder she has done outstanding work in the LGBTQ2S+ community and started the Queer Klub, a vital service for marginalized youth in our community. Katrina is a true demonstration of activism for Sault Ste. Marie.
Civic Price Recipient: Sandy Holmberg
Not only a well-known vendor for many local restaurants and the Mill Market Farmer’s Market, Sandra was an MPP candidate for the Sault Ste. Marie riding. She is involved in all her endeavors from the ground up, constantly giving back to the community through her business, Sunnynook Farms.
