Hello all!
The Rez Girls hockey team does not have a cement pad in their arena to practice on.This fundraiser aims to gift this team and northern community with a proper ice pad to practice, enjoy, and use for off-season events.
Would you please consider sharing this fundraiser on your personal Facebook page, or, if you are a small business owner, on your own personal FB business page? While the fundraiser is over the halfway point in reaching it's goal, there is just under $40,000 to go.
Let's get these girls some ice!

GIRLS 64 UPDATE: Our 3,000 for $30 campaign to raise money for a new hockey rink has drawn international attention within 30 days, and 600+ people have raised over $42,000 in online and cash donations. The response has been overwhelming, with many beautiful and significant reasons for giving including: personal acts of reconciliation, social justice, the belief that this resilient First Nation's girls hockey team deserves the same opportunity to succeed as every other kid. Our goal is $90K to build a cement base that will lengthen the season for practice. Currently the team has to wait for natural temperatures to freeze the lake and the flooded pebbled surface in the arena. The fly-in reserve of Fort Hope where this team lives, continuously overcomes many odds including boil-water advisories, a lack of infrastructure and inequality of education. My daughter plays hockey. She has access to new equipment, ice time at the arena, tournaments, and plays on her own team. I can't imagine her facing the challenges that the Rez Girls 64 team has, from Eabametoong First Nation.

“Can we do our engagement session at a brewery? Can we bring our dog?” I couldn’t have been more excited! Craft beer and pups. This engagement session at The Second Wedge Brewing Co. in Uxbridge, Ontario was ridiculously fun, and completely personal for the amazing Emily and Graham.

Having Mary Rose Photograph both our destination wedding and our reception back home was the best decision my hubby and I made. We couldn't have asked for a better person. She is tentative and very sweet. She was constantly asking if we were ok or if we needed anything. Her husband also join her to Jamaica where we had our wedding and what an amazing guy. We started off with a photographer and her husband and ended up with some new friends. We just had to invite him to join us at our reception back home. She captured some incredible moments that I would not have seen was it not for her.

Working with MaryRose for our wedding was fantastic from start to finish. Not only is MaryRose so much fun and laid back, she's so professional and has a fabulous eye for detail. It was so easy to be ourselves around her and would recommend her to any of our family and friends. Amazing!

We started working with MaryRose just over a year ago when our son was born. My wife and I have been thrilled with her work and how professional she is! We have done 4 photo shoots with her in the past year (newborn, fall, Christmas/winter and cake smash - clearly we like working with her!!). All have been amazing experiences and the photos she sends turn out awesome! She is so friendly and great with babies/kids, which is an important factor to making them feel comfortable enough to express themselves.
I think the other essential characteristic of MaryRose is her ability to adapt to different situations while still being creative and having the ability to get the shots needed for her clients. For our newborn shoot, MaryRose came to our house not knowing what place would be most ideal for the pictures since she had never met us before. Within a few minutes she knew exactly what she wanted and how to run the rest of the shoot. Same with our fall and Christmas photos - we met her at a location and she was just so smooth in knowing where to place us with our son. It was a very fluid transition from each pose which made it easy for us!
There are a lot of photographers out there but MaryRose is definitely the real deal!! My wife and I are happy to say that we've found our family photographer!! :)response / report this review -

MaryRose is great! She took so many wonderful pictures of our family, we are now struggling with where we should put them all. She dealt with our three young kids with ease, and made everyone feel comfortable. Can't say enough good things. Now I am looking for another excuse to get photos taken
