Im writing a review about the women's health clinic. I was referred here by my Dr and although I have yet to actually see Dr Thurston each time I call to inquire about a cancellation appointment the lady answering the phones (i think her name is Karen) is so friendly. I call every week and she never treats me like I am burdening hershe's always so friendly and helpful! Writing this I realize how unfortunate it is that Im not sure about her nameeither way she is fantastic and helpful and a great first point of contact for the clinic!

I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. This place is poorly run, poorly staffed, and incompetent in the care & services they provide. I went to the ER in distress and was mistreated, abused, and accused of lying by staff. They show little to no empathy as well as they show little regard for safety, the experience I had at SHC only increased my distress and has caused for an increase in health problems since visiting here. They have shown little to no empathy in regards to me expressing my concerns and complaints.
All I can say about this place is PLEASE do not come here for anything, I would rather lose a limb then to be 'cared' for at this facility. It is an embarrassment to AHS.response / report this review -

I never seen like this hospital. My 4 years old daughter was so sick and we went to emergency at this hospital at 5AM after 1 hours that we were inside waiting for doctor’s visit I ask them how long dose it take to doctor see my daughter ? She said 4 passions are front of you and maybe it take from 1 to 9 hours!! after that I brought my daughter to children hospital ,that one was so far from us , but they care of sick children so much.

My baby was born in this hospital, so horrible experience here! The nurse is not professional , 3times they had to pierce needles into my hands to try and draw blood and insert the IV. I waited two hours for the epidural, but the Anesthesiologist did not come until my baby was born!
The nurse ask us to go home at 2am at night! less than 20 hours after delivery! Because they have no space for new clients! They did not done the blood test for the baby!response / report this review -

Went to day surgery, the staff were amazing! From the moment I walked in the door till I left I received excellent care. I was very grateful to be taken care of by such a wonderful team.

This hospital is the nicest one I've ever been to. The staff is really friendly and the hospital is very clean and new. They have a teaching family medical clinic that is accepting patients if you are not picky about seeing the same doctor every time. This hospital also has a YMCA, although I have never used it.

My sister and I brought my dad here when he was short of breath. They examined him quickly and did what they could to calm him and us. He was admitted that night so I stayed with him and all the doctors and nurses were very kind and listened to what he had to say and explained what they were going to do. I'm so glad we chose to bring him here. He stayed for a total of 9 days with no complaints. The food portions weren't very big (because most sick people don't have an appetite) so they told him the option of doubling up on stuff so he wasn't hungry all the time plus the little kitchens they have were handy for snacking! The tests were run in a timely matter and the results given that day with a plan as to what the next steps were going to be.

Stay away from the psychiatric "care" provided in this hospital. I got to the hospital during a time of distress and the nurse who took my blood pressure accused me of "being on drugs" because my face was red. She made this declaration in front of a room full of strangers. I had to remind her that I was there due to a case of distress and that PERHAPS my face was flushed due to this, rather than "drugs" as she said in the most condescending way possible. I then talked to a woman who had purple braids and a strong accent, who laughed at me when I talked about the distress I was experiencing. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, the doctor I waited for hours to see had no social skills and rolled his eyes repeatedly and bragged about being in the military. I do not know his name but he was short, looked like Elliott Rodgers, and was in love with his Apple Watch. He told me that I could go home if I lied and told them what they wanted to hear, so that's what I did in order to get away from those people. I think that Doctor Military Man should prescribe himself a xanax and stay far away from people who are experiencing crisis. All of this being said, the security guards were professional and friendly. I think they should trade salaries with the doctors and nurses who work in this facility. Stay away!
