We stopped for dinner on our way to a hockey game in Standard. We were pleased with the service but not the food. I had the Mom's Meat loaf and just made it to the areana before it started going through me, didn't see much of the game I spent most of my time on the toilet.

Great menu options in a relaxed atmosphere, this is a local favourite that people will drive an hour to come to. Make sure you visit the bathroom if only just to see the train nostalgia. The Station does not disappoint whether it's a dinner for 2 or a lunch for 40!

The service was great, the food not so much. Took our grandson out for dinner for his birthday and the food was a little high priced. Steak was about $40 and this is a small town. I had gravy with my meal and it was totally tasteless. My grandson hot a free dessert and as he was full we asked if he could have it to go. Unfortunately that's not allowed, if you are going to offer it, I don't understand why a restaurant would risk upsetting a current/future guest by not just letting the kid have his brownies. Poor marketing if you ask me. Would I go backNo.

Edit: went today and they took order wrong then the waitress did not take responsibility without an excuse. 1 star removed.
I have found the staff here to be very helpful. Recently we ate here with a family member with a hearing issues that causes pain with excessive background noise. The staff placed us in a closed section with a door to accommodate. They didn't hesitate or argue. Very impressedresponse / report this review -

Food was amazing, very pricey for a lunchtime visit. Excellent service. Nice decor. My taco salad looked like a piece of art with the impressive addition of the watermelon radish. The dressing was very tasty and the beef was melt-in-your-mouth good. Overall, we enjoyed our visit & meals.

Awesome experience. Loved the atmosphere and setup. Great pizza, excellent staff, food came hot and had great portions of the plated meals. Lots of follow up through the dinner.

Amazing service, amazing food. I have been in Strathmore working for the last couple of weeks. This place has been of equally amazing to eat at almost every day. The service is outstanding. The food amazing. Best wing Thursday I have even attended. Huge wings quality food. Highly recommended this place.

Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, amazing food and amazing prices. This place is comfortably large and real nice. All the girls serving were friendly and the manager took the time out of her day to kindly ask how things were. The kind of thing you don't see in most places at all. Recommend

Went here for dinner. I have some new medical conditions that affect my diet and after I ordered the Choo Choo chicken It arrived and I saw it was breaded not roasted as I misinterpreted the menu.
I can't eat breading and the server, the manger and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to make me something I could eat.
They were super nice the whole time and even discounted my bill..Which I paid back with a large, well deserved tip.
The food was amazing..And I don't think I've ever had better service !
We will be back! And I now know the right questions to ask before I order.response / report this review -

We went to the Sunday brunch, and everything was so good! Loved the lasagna and the rum sauce. The sticky toffee pudding was so good too! Thanks John and to the other staff (didn't get his name), for being so accommodating despite being busy on that Sunday morning.
