Important update for Fleet Foxes tonight:
Due to a City of Toronto water main break, the Sony Centre currently has limited access to water for the facility. This directly affects our air conditioning, and may affect our washrooms.
We advise anyone coming to the Sony Centre tonight to see Fleet Foxes to dress accordingly. The Sony Centre staff will be monitoring this situation, and hopefully this will not impact on this evening.
City of Toronto maintenance crews are currently working to repair the issue. We wanted to ensure that our patrons are aware and prepared. We regret this inconvenience.

My experience this yr 2018 and last yr 2017 at the stomp competition I was very disappointed to know that you had that many people in attendance and still had to charge all this money for snacks water and juice $4.00 for a bag of chips and and water $5.00 for juice and the other snacks I can't even quote the amount but i'm sure it was expensive the stomp comp. is attended by people from the most vulnerable ares of our city and for the most part they bring 3 or more children with them pls tell me why I should have to pay $12.00 for 3 bags of chips and $12 - $15 for drinks that is utterly ridiculous I can buy a case of water (24) for $2.50 if i brought all my grandchildren (6) that would cost me $64.00 just to buy them a water and a small bag of chips each that's crazy there are enough people in attendance that there is no need to sell these items at these prices it's so unfair especially for the Stomp comp.

How do you cancel a show without any notice? Not only did we drive 5 hours from Ohio for the gig, but we got an Airbnb and uber’d to the venue only to find out it was canceled when we got there.
It’s one thing to cancel a show, and it’s another to not send out any notice until after doors were to open. Fuck this place.response / report this review -

I went here for the Distant Worlds Music From Final Fantasy show a few years ago in 2015. The venue was very large with lots of space, even with a full house of people wandering around buying stuff and chatting before the show. The actual performance area is wonderful, seats are well cushioned and the angle of how the seats raise upwards from one row to the next going from front to back is great. I'm only 5ft tall and could still see without much effort even with taller people in front of me. I also like the waiting area in front of the main lobby. Plenty of space to stand indoors before they actually come to check tickets and allow people to come in for merchandise, food and the show. Kept me and everyone else from freezing out in the December weather. The entire interior design of ALL areas I was in was gorgeous and even kept exceptionally clean, bathrooms included. And lastly, the employees were all very friendly and helpful throughout the entire evening. I hope many more events I wish to see in the future get scheduled into this venue. Would love to keep coming back here each time I find a live show I want to see.

I went to see Herbie Hancock at the Sony Center tonight. I've been going to see live music for over 30 years. This was by far the worst sounding show I've seen. I get it, you have sub woofers.

I was here last night for Evanescence. All I can say is this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a show. We arrived before the show was supposed to start and there was an incredibly long line outside. By the time we got in and found our seats, the first half of the show was over. We missed a half hour of the show just trying to get inside. How many events have taken place here? This facility should be far more prepared to deal with the amount of people coming in. Going to wand everyone? Then you need more wands. I seriously feel that people should be offered a part refund. We missed at least 30% of the show all because of you were not ready for the amount of people coming in. That is disgraceful. I can honestly say if I'm ever interested in seeing a show in the future and it says it's playing here, I will absolutely not be attending and I hope many more people feel the same from last night. Everyone lined up was in shock at the size of the line so clearly it's not normal. Going to host big concerts? Be more prepared!
