Helpful and friendly staff. Decent selection for a small town grocery store.
Good selection of fresh produce. Some organics. Good quality meats. A tad pricey. Helpful staff.
Can't move around they have so many displays and food in the aisle. Many times I bring home my veggies and fruit and they are soft or bad already.
The store is clean and well looked after. Smaller than expected, the building is not as deep as you would expect. Items on sale are equivalent to other stores but full price, forget about it.
Typical sobeys. Good selection of fresh meat and vegetables. Clean.
Great staff. Fresh produce and they carry local when in season.
Very clean and organized. Lots of local produce of a good quality and fair prices. I also LOVE the free banana for kids, I recently moved here from another province and they do not do this there.
Prices are a bit higher for fresh items but otherwise a nice clean and friendly place.
The staff are friendly - it's one of the few places you can go in Angus without there being a problem ( take no responsibility for how you're treated by locals and drivers once you leave the building.) Only thing is, stay away from the potato wedgesdry, chewy, overcooked and a dollar more per unit than Metro in Barrie who's wedges are some of the best in the city.
Where to start
Always under staffed. Basically they have the quick line open and one other.
The quick line is actually aisle two or something, so I accident go into it all the time!
The prices are astronomical. I mean, I spend $50 at no frills down the street and the same selection here would easily be $80!
Usually what you want isn't in stock.
We do all our grocery shopping here. Ready to eat meals are delicious.
Expensive. This is a great looking, clean, new store, and you'll pay for it.
I like PC brand, and Sobeys doesn't carry PC products so those two things are each worth a star to me. However, there is a large selection of non-PC brand products. The sales here aren't good, there's a lot of "Buy 5, get one half off". There are a few niche things I like to buy here, like those big bags of frozen wedges and some frozen oriental foods. The health section is good. Other than that, I'll get my produce, eggs, bread and milk at No Frills up the road or stop somewhere in Barrie.
