Really cool idea to have a board game café. I was here with my friend and we were impressed by the selection of board games and the helpfulness of the staff who taught us how to play some board games we've never seen before. We got the smoothies which were a bit watery

My friends and I have come here many times and I have to say that we have a good time, every time.
Pros:
1. Has several games to choose from.
2. The food and drinks are fine.
3. The staff is young and friendly.
Cons:
1. They don't have a lot of options for food but that's okay.
2. The lineup is loooong sometimes but that only shows that they are popular. Be there and book as soon as you can.

Overall, great experience as always.

Nice atmosphere, I don't really like the fact that there is a cover (usually $5 or $6) but they do have a great variety of games. There also game gurus that can help you choose a game and walk you through the it. The service is pretty slow though

I've been going to Snakes for years. It's a very homey environment and everyone is super inviting. Want to try a new game but don't know how to play? No problem just ask! It's a great place to sit back relax and have fun with a couple of friends and even pick up a new found hobby.

Food wise, it's very much finger foods but that's just what you'd want when you're busy planning your next move. It's a tad expensive but honestly food always adds to the experience but it's not even necessary!

Entrance fee and you're in all day if you wanted to be. Highly suggested for kids, friends family alike for short visits for extended coffee breaks or for extremist tabletop aficionados.

Great atmosphere, great service, great selection of board games and really nice lattes. Supports vegan food options as well. If you're coming on a busy night with a large group, be prepared to wait for seats since there are no reservations (that's a good thing though).

Had a great time! Went on a Friday night and had to wait an hour but they had a system in place that text you when the table was ready so that was great. You only have 10 minutes after the text is sent to get back or your table will be given to the next in line so do not go far. The game selection was great and they have a dedicated employee to help with game rules. The food and drinks were better than you would expect. I will be back and I would recommend it to others.

It was great! The place has great service, awesome, filling food & a welcoming environment. It's a good place to just unwind yourself from the busy hectic schedules with some old fashion board games. Bring loads of friends with you if you ever come here! Its one of the best places to visit during the summer.

I've been to several board game cafes and this was my best experience by far. Lots of seating (though it's popular, so it was filling up later in the day), great selection of games, decent food choices and quality. But mostly, the staff were the friendliest and most helpful of any board games cafe I've been to. They checked on us regularly for food, drinks, and advice for picking board games and helping us learn the rules. Overall we had an amazing afternoon there.

A favourite spot for board games and social gatherings. The food has recently impressed me, and I enjoy their selection of drinks, there is usually something interesting on tap. The staff on the whole are friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The game gurus are by far the best part about this place. I have a few favourites and it's always the gurus who make my experience their memorable. I've learned so many new and great games because of them.

Went here with a few friends on a weekday night. The place was very busy and we had to wait for close to half an hour but they were very pleasant, took our number and called us when a table was free. The game selection is huge and they are all really interesting, the ranking system based on difficulty to play makes it easy to pick a appropriate game.

There was a large food and drink menu, I ordered a pint which was standard and a friend ordered a mixed drink which looked amazing but was not exceptional. My friend ordered a cookie which took forever to come and then they didn't have it in the end.

Overall the waiter was better at explaining games then being a waiter. Great place to play games that is also a decent cafe.

This place is huge but still has a cozy atmosphere. I've been here a lot and the servers are always friendly, the game selection is excellent. They also have game gurus who can explain any game to your group or recommend games. They have a nice selection of sandwiches, some hot items, alcoholic drinks, teas and wine. My only complaints would be that the washrooms are very cold, not kept very tidy and the dryer blast frigid hair instead of warm air.

Great atmosphere and sure, it's very busy, but I'll always wait the 60 minutes. Our server seemed genuinely interested in helping us learn the game, so I understood when I'd go thirty minutes without seeing her because she was probably helping another table. There have been a few times where the counter/bar staff were rude or short with me. I get the vibe that they have more business than they need, and don't feel pressure to give quality service. I get that you've given that particular response to that question a hundred times, but maybe consider that you haven't told me a hundred times.

Great place to come hang out with friends and play some board games. They have a huge selection of games which are well organized and if you are unsure of what to play, there is a game master who will be able to recommend a game and even teach you how to play. The wait staff are very friendly and are not afraid of showing their personality which really sets the service apart. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and they have a pretty decent selection of both. There is a Green P parking lot around the back which usually has spots available. I would recommend coming in a bit earlier in the night since they don't take reservations but even if you come a bit later, you can leave your name and number and they will contact you when a table is ready for you.
